read the tutorial, if you've done it correctly the phone will reboot itself, do NOT touch any of the formatting options!! wait 10 mins and if it doesn't restart select reboot phone or remove the battery and re-read the steps before trying again.

Its very important to have initrd separate with kernel then we dont need anymore recompile all time kernel to get initrd work, we can save to hours time and make work's porting easyer. Off course its an sugestion.

the thing is, we would have to work out how the kernel will see the bada partition layout, and point the kernel to the file within that layout, would be something like "initrd=/dev/block/mmcblk0p2/galaxyboot/initrd.img" or some such added to the kernel ATAG command line i believe. I also however am not sure what format the image needs to be. We stayed with having initramfs integrated into kernel because we were still working just on kernel execution in bootloader, in addition less files tend to make it less of a hassle explaining how to use it.

Separate initrd should be located on separate partition, not as file, but written as binary data, because initrd is filesystem itself, kernel isn't able to "look into" mmcblk devices in other way than just starting reading from 0x0 offset.

Tomorrow I'll do it; but, in the meantime (in my country it's 11pm), there is someone who tried the newest firmware (XXKL6) with the mixed bootloader (XPKJ1) and the modified fota? I've upgraded through Kies doing some tricks and now I would reinstall Android, but I really don't know if the current firmware is still compatible.
If someone have tried, tomorrow we'll know ;)

Ok... I didn't read the post before. I'll try it anyway. Maybe my SDcard well be luckier.

That's the procedure I used with no problem. I was later informed that there is no need to mix the older bootloader because the KL6 bootloader works too. I also used nbates .sh file over here for the smaller .img installation:

Also follow his instructions for checking OSP free space:

You will need to change your screen time out to 10 minutes immediately after your first Android boot because of the power off bug. Install Wake Lock to prevent screen timeouts after that as explained by Scarface here:

http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=16171732&postcount=2280

I needed Root, and I found this explanation from lharvince to be the best:

http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=15669734&postcount=2055

By the way, thanks to all the developers for this port and the members cited above as well as all who made this thread useful. Also thanks to Shadow for creating and maintaining the original tutorial.
