SMS Problem Fixed for me:
Flashed RedPill Kernel and all recommended options and sms service didnt work
Walktrough:
New ALL CLEAN INSTALLATION (wipe, mount, fix permission JUST as said in post 1)
BUT:
N.e.a.k. Kernel and ICS messages, No APEX, and the rest all recommended.
Now works fine.
Hope this helps other user... imho RR is the best rom i ever had (note2 and SGS2 too)

Very nice rom for sure, but like many other say... it really need an update now.
Just hope it will get an update tho..

Used it Loved it, but no update, no communication from the dev, seems like a ded rom that slowly will reach the last page of the forum, the rom deserve better than that but with the dev not showing up, it will be a dead rom soon. I'm gonna try other rom, reading the threads there's a lot out there, great job though will be checking for future updates, if any.
Beautiful ROM.
It's very good however only 1 issue that bugs me is the bluetooth skipping the audio for about 1 second randomly. Happens once in 1 - 3 music plays.
It definitely needs updating but it has always been slow for the dev to release the ROMs. I believe that is why his ROMs are really good

Although I would agree about the rarity of updates on this ROM, it's still at 4.1.2 and I still find this ROM more functional than the latest OTA from Sammy. Hence, I will wait for the official 4.2.x from Sammy before moving Way from this one... Provided that there's still no update from westcrip by then..

Besides, can you blame them? Westcrip made the best AOSP themed ROM available for the Note 2, and then for some reason abandoned it without saying a single word to the many many people who supported it. I know real life ALWAYS comes first, but I think its kind of weird that one status update couldn't be given in months.
The AOSP Project and Du@lnote are both on their way to becoming insane AOSP themed ROMS, and as the developers of those ROMs regularly reply to their members, they heard the members when they requested the devs study the ROM that many say still has the best AOSP theme. Hell, I was one of those who encouraged other devs to study this ROM!
Nothing at all wrong with that as long as credit is given (which it is/will be).
That being said, I still check this thread everyday in the hopes of seeing an update

1.- Wipe data / factory reset (mandatory if you coming from AOSP OR 4.1.X version or another ROM)
2.- Install the Main ROM
4.- Choose depending of your taste on aroma
5.- When AROMA installer finish untick the "Reboot Now" option
6.- When you're back on recovery go to Advanced
7.- Wipe Dalvik Cache
8.- Fix Permissions
9.- Wipe Cache Partition
10.- Reboot

i used simplistic framework so there is 23 toggle or more no worry about it .BTW rom almost finished .%97 DONE .This time RR blowing mind.:laugh: Stay tight guys because this time i worked soo hard on it (since a week day and night)
