hi, i friend has a galaxy nexus , he wants to update, but ota method aint working,, so i adviced him to root and flash rom bla bla bla,,,, so ,im asking ,this method works on stock 4.1.1 jro03c build?
I have a GT-I9250 on 4.2.2 jelly Offical ROM. I am trying to look for recovery-clockwork-touch-6.0.2.3-maguro.img as i cant seem to download it from clockwork. Also what is the best custom rom for the device which is stable using 4.2.2 jelly bean
Awesome sticky
Can I use stock recovery itself to install SuperSU.zip instead of CWM, if I'm not interested in custom ROMs at the moment?
Thanks

Hi guys,
I have a GNEX with stock rom 4.2.2. I found that my AnTuTu score is low, just about 6000. Is it normal or not? In the Ranking list, someone has more than 20.000
I am new to GNEX, hope to see your reply soon
Thank you. I know that , but if it is too low, maybe something doesn't work properly. Just want to know if it is acceptable or not
Sometime it is laggy when I open five or six apps. Actually I bought an used one, so I am a bit worried.is your phone smooth enough? does it lag when you're wanting to complete a certain task?
those are the questions you should ask.
I still don't understand...
if I want to change from one kernel to another, should I do "format /system, format /data, and format /cache" ?
for example I'm using PA ROM and AK kernel and want to change to Fancy kernel...
C:\android-sdk-windows\platform-tools>fastboot flash recovery recovery-clockwork
-touch-6.0.3.1-toro.img

I have a few questions. What are kernels? What do they do? Can I have a bad kernel and ROM combination? I'm currently using AOKP build 27. What are some good kernels you would suggest? Should I save my current kernel? How would I go back to my current kernel?
Are BAMF and CM9 only for the CDMA GNex? They both say Toro and isn't that the CDMA version and Maguro is the GSM?
