Has anyone been able to use the theme presets yet, or found a way to backup your own? I know this was just now incorporated, but I wasn't sure if anyone had made use of it yet

Excuse me for this stupid question:

How can i install this on any SD version?

I'm currently using (HTC-HD2) with Nexus HD2 ICS 4.0.3 CM9.
Files of the ROM are on SD under Directory Nexus as follow:

UPDATE --> Directory
clrcad
data.ext4
haret
initrd.gz
sd_boot
startup.txt
system.ext4
zimage

The SD card don't have any Extended partition (it only has one fat32 and all my builds working good).

I don't know how to use the Update directory with the ZIP file.
I tried to extract the ZIP file to that directory and reboot --> Failed (Nothing happened)
Also tried to replace the original system with files from this ZIP and re-build the system --> Failed (Getting UI force close).

please help me if there is another place i should extract this zip into

I Appreciate detail procedure...

You are supposed to flash this zip file through CWM and then Wipe dalvik cache.

That is OK but i'm using SD Version not NAND version.
I'm currently using WM on NAND and some Android builds on SD WITHOUT ANY PARTITION and all working fine.
My only problem (as a newbie) is how to do the update?
How could i update using SD version?
Is there a way to have recovery while in SD? if yes, HOW?

You could try pushing those 2 apk files inside the zip to /system/app with adb.

I tried to replace the original system with files from this ZIP and re-build the system --> Failed (Getting UI force close).

it seems that some scripts (sh) from the ZIP/SYSTEM needs to be run after the APK injection....i tried this also but the script can't be run because this extension is not defined in system.

I can still able to test any suggestions from members and if any one managed to do that before, please input..

If your running Android from your sdcard then the files you need to replace are on there. We run it on our phones so we might not be the right group to ask those questions. Hope you get it working though!

never used CM... but have actually used MIUI all the time on S2 and now i miss MIUI on note... but i guess with CM9 coming it should make up for missing MIUI on note...
one thing i'd like to know is that does this reloaded ICS - CM9 also contains the "Guard Mode" that MIUI has where all the call log and message box appear empty if the guard mode is enabled...
any help would be appreciated...

Hooah, got this working without issue on a Samsung Galaxy Nexus running a CM9 nightly build from Winner (see here: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1404988 ).
Works great.
One question I can't seem to find an answer to: Is it possible to make the navigation bar transparent? I am able to change the themes and colors and I have a transparent notification bar working without issue.
Kinda makes me wonder if the theme setup can allow for transparent or semi-transparent colors, because that would be really cool.

Awesome mod, really liking it. You took the already crazy good CM9 and made it even better!

I think it should be possible. While editing hex code of the color, first two letters (#ff......) is for transparency... Change it to anything lower (00,11,22....99,AA,BB,CC) and try it...

Finally back online, have had a busy May so I apologize for the lack of updates!
Thanks to everyone that sent me an email/notification this past month, I apologize in advance if I don't reply right away.

I had been talking with the cm team in may to port some of the color settings, however I'm not sure of the best way to do that yet with the theme chooser. I have been flashing a few of the cm9 nightlies on my nexus though and I definitely miss a few features :)

Because of all the changes to cm9 especially themes, I plan on starting a new project rather than continue with developing the current version of Reloaded.

I've started using github.com to keep an updated copy of cm frameworks & Settings app along with my changes. This way I'll be able to add stuff to the whole ROM rather than just the UI, and it can be compiled seperately by device to avoid some of the bugs seen in the past.

Will be adding some old reloaded features and some new stuff, I'll be making a new post/thread once I have something to show, will keep you guys updated!

Hey guys, just an update. Progress is coming along nicely, I have gotten a decent amount of stuff done. A lot of people seem to want the nav bar on their phones, so that will definitely be something I add in. I am also working on a very cool feature related to that.

So far I've added bottom statusbar, brightness toast dialog, and some other minor changes (GPS toggle in settings, gradient background, etc). I submitted bottom statusbar and brightness toast to CM gerrit, so some kangs might already have it.

If you must have these features now and compile CM9 yourself, you can edit your manifest.xml and switch android_frameworks_base and packages_apps_Settings to point to github.com/rob43 and it should compile just fine (will include latest cm changes). If you are on a galaxy nexus, fitsnugly's kang already has these features cherry picked.

Hoping to have a bunch more done by next week :)
