[ROM][7.24.14][v1.15] "L Kat" - Beautiful White Stock KitKat with a Android "L" Feel

L Kat
Stock Android 4.4.4 with Android L Images
KTU84P Android 4.4.4
Factory Image Goodness

(i have to say i am in love with this ROM!!)

So I decided to have a little fun using the Android L images from the Developers Preview. The Rom is based off the my Stock w Goodies Rom
This Rom will be maintained separately from my original Rom which is for stock lovers as myself. So no worries, I didn't abandon it.


The holo white theme is already built into kitkat. All I did was activated them and made a little adjustments of my own of course

This rom includes:
5x4 Homescreen and App Drawer Layout
Holo White Backgrounds
APPOps
Smaller app icons on homescreen
Smaller NavBar
DSP Manager
Apolo Player
LCD Density set to 420 :p
Stripped down rom by removing apks that can be downloaded from the market
White in settings with Android L images
Battery Percentage

Change Log:
v1.1
added android L keyboard. go to the advanced settings in keyboard settings to set it to material

v1.11
more UI changes and text color fixes. looks beautiful to me
wipe cache after flashing

v1.12
more UI and images changes
printer icon in settings is fixed also
enjoy

v1.13
more UI "whiteness"
added APM
added Multi DPI Play store for "not compatible apps" in playstore due to DPI change (credits to MyLifeRocks10)

v1.14
changed some text color to fix the white on white text in some apps
darkened some more images (setup wizard and low battery warning images and more)

v1.15
fixed the black notification font color issue
black text on black background issue fixed also

Anyone have a mirror? Keeps saying unable to open document when I try n download thru drive. ??

I really like it last night. I am not used to stock though. New android L notifications would be a nice addition, however today we for android L headsup like app. So that's good. Changes in update? Should i re flash or no?

I was wondering, why did you upload it on Google Drive when Mega is faster ? (not a troll, it's a serious question)

download the tether.sh script and copy it to your phone
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B80IxmVlzWAxbHprTkhaTTFrNTA/edit?usp=sharing

download script manager and open it
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=os.tools.scriptmanager&hl=en

browse to where you copied the tether.sh and select and make sure "boot" and "su" is selected then press run
see attachment

and proof that it works

    New changes in coming.
    Switch colors have been changed to match the holo white
    Unreadable white text on white backgrounds have been fixed
    Something else I can't remember ohhhhh...android L style text selection icons. See attachments

    next release will have the unreadable gray text in some apps fixed, and lock screen dark text is fixed also
    its coming along nicely :)
