hi,
the rom is delayed.
just bricked my phone (won't charge anymore, motherboard is overheated)
need to repair it.
could take some time
if anyone could help me with a donation would that be great
Mine been seen by O2REPAIR and they have given me a broken phone and sending a xperia play through the post
,Mine would not go into fastboot recovery after locking the bootloader all I got wa3 blinking red leds
mine doesn't do anything.

I thought so, it seems thats not possible to port the cam app with face detection for the play

Dude your wifi does work i just flashed doomkernel alpha wifi gsm enabler and flashed beta wifi modules and it works
thanks nick but may i recommend you update the dates in first post? was kinda getting confused if this thread was from a few months back or its actually updated with fresh rom. will test and let you know whats poppin on my side.
and the dude above can you upload dooms alpha wifi modules (not the beta ones)

29Here is an ported android ICS rom from the Xperia ray.
It is almost fully working and i am using this rom as my daily one
What works:
Boots
Touchscreen
Data (2G and 3G)
Calls/sms
Sensors
Wifi
Bluetooth
Camera (front/back, recording, panorama and taking pictures)
video playback
Gamepad
semi-working:
touchpads
What doesn't work:
Face unlock (will upload a fix asap)

First flash the kernel with fastboot (rename the files to boot.img) (fastboot flash boot boot.img)
then boot the phone
when it vibrates press back button
go to factory reset (it will wipe all your data!)
then go to flash zip from sd card - chose zip from sd card
chose the rom and flash it
flash the wifi fix (like above)
and reboot!
settup the phone
open game launcher and close it
power off the phone
flash game launcher (new one!)
reboot
and enjoy the rom!10Donations
