I have one little issue... Email app always stays on no matter what I do.I kill it with Task Killer and it runs again.I mean, it isn't open, but it runs on the back.
I don't want to remove it since I want an email app (and not the one for Gmail) and all the ones I have tried from Market are not as good...This one has only this issue.
Gmail app doesn't do this.
I have selected to sync every day, not every hour or with push, but it still runs.Any suggestions?

I'm very confused about this ROM. I changed trebouchet for Adw L EX (and it is very, very better), set CPU at 748, smartassv2. Removed a lot of graphics assets but I still have this ROM terribly laggy, zRAM enabled. But I hav 10/15 secs lag to open contacts app, 10/15 secs to have the selection number, when I receive a call, I have to wait seconds and seconds before the replay button appears. Sometime I'm not able to wake up the phone, so I have to retry after a minute (or remove the battery!). Multitasking is almost impossibile and everything I do, averything, then I have to wait the home redraw. And if I force multitasking the reply is a red led and a reboot.
With this conditions for me is impossible to use like daly ROM. I don't know what I wrong.
X8 in my opinion is overstressed by this CM9. Ok, it would be a great thing ICS on our phone, but not at all costs.
How do, you "daily" users?

I use it as my daily rom.I have deleted things like DSP Manager, default music player and installed Miui, I have Apex Launcher, Ram Manager, I deleted Advanced Task Killer and now I use Watchdog...
I have also installed roobeyn's fix...everything's smooth.

I have said it before, every device is different.

I agree, tried for a week, but the cm9 is still too laggy with apex.
See my suggestions,

Dont EVER use SURFACE DITHERING, it will make your phone become an ultimate lag machine ...
Based on my experience with it ..

    MiniCM9 Visuals

    MiniCM9 Theme:

MiniCM9 theme, is the valid successor for MiniCM6 and MiniCM7 legacy.
It is designed as close as possible to the original specs of ICS, in order to be a lightweight, beautiful alternative to the stock theme. However it is tweaked in several parts of the UI, in order to fit better to x8's device's screen.

    Screenshots:

    Tips to make things faster

    * You want to overclock as much as you device can handle. ICS requires more juice to run.
    * Remove / Freeze system apps that you don't need, especially DSP Manager
    * Install only apps that you need, don't bloat your system
    * Consider using a swap partition / file if you got a fast sdcard. Swap will give more memory for the hungry ICS to consume
    * Using Zram (Compcache) and KSM is also suggested as they will give you a tad more RAM for your apps. Note that they might also reduce battery life since they require CPU cycles.
    * Trebuchet is beautiful but a bit on the laggy side yet. Consider installing another launcher from the market like Apex.

Don't report bugs if you are using thirdparty tools that claim to be boosting the performance (Supercharger, RAM Manager, etc.)
