[ROM] eViL's NXSense Z v.0.5+ - HTC Desire Z maintained by wdfowty [12/05/10]

Here is the Desire Z / Vision ROM. I'm not sure if I wanna maintain another Desire thread, so I am just throwing this out there. I may get to it eventually, but I want others to have a crack at it too. Based off of the Official RUU, 1.24x. There's things that don't work, but I'm sure somebody (if I don't) with some time will get it working.

ZIP: Z_files contains the RUU that was extracted, it is pure stock.

NXSense-Z contains the Image in a bootable form.

*It is big, it will require an EXT partition. Check the update-script.

What's not working:
Camera/video cam
Hotspots

This is not a "daily" driver rom.

He is right. I got both this Rom and the desire hd Rom to boot using wildmonks 8/27 cfs 925 kernel. Bootup just takes a real long time. The desire z Rom is faster and has secured WiFi working.

Here's what you need to do:

I'm using Clockwork recovery.

First install and backup a working Desire HD Rom.(I used eViL's NXSense HD v.0.4 Rom)

Then wipe everything.

Then install the eViL-NXSense-Z.zip.

Don't reboot system now.

Go to backup and restore.

Advanced Restore.

Choose the Desire HD Rom you backed up earlier.

Restore boot.

Reboot system now.

Enjoy!

You can also install the eViL-NXSense-Z.zip.

Then find and install a kenrel that gets other things working like wifi I used this one:

As posted by others you can also use a few of wildmonks kernels.

Hopefully others will post a direct link to the other working kernels.
