you have to dial *22899
Having a problem with notifications. I've tried three different SMS apps and I can't figure out how to get the notification light working. I have gone into settings on phone and added the app to notification light and the test works. When I receive a message however, I don't get a blinking notification light. I have even changed settings in the app such as in go SMS but the test within the app will not blink. Any ideas?

Ive also noticed sometimes when i put it into silent mode, it automatically reverts back to normal. same goes for the opposite. anyone else have this issue?
No idea, but it happened to me last night after I posted that I hadn't had any reboots. (I guess I forgot to knock on wood.) I ran the AOKP ICS rom several weeks ago and experienced that same issue constantly. It's why I reverted to CM 7. While I'd prefer no reboots or freezes, one in two days time isn't bad. Also, why does this phone freakout sometimes when you pull it from the charger?
And calibrate your battery. After a few charging cycles, you'll notice a difference.
Check to see what is running in the background. If you have apps running for no reason, shut them down.
Only things I don't use. Disabled GTalk, Music, DSP, and a few others that start at boot and always run. I use PowerAmp, which unloads when not in use. Other minor apps I shut down when I finish using them (games, browser, etc.), but not the important ones. Also, check sync schedules. Some things just don't need to check in every 5 minutes.Unless ICS has changed the way Android OS operates (I haven't looked, but I doubt it) this is generally a bad idea.
i never got the app to work, but the built in wifi tether works like a charm.
so my odd not receiving mms via someone on a diff network just sort of fixed itself and went away. it replicated itself for two days then all was well... go figure.
to add to some of the 3rd party keyboard issues i have the go keyboard installed and every time you press the "go" button, which is a shortcut button the phone reboots. 100% replicable every time. i can't type in the stock keyboard like at all, keys are too small for me when using the phone vertically.
New build is up! Flashing it on my phone now, and I'll update the op later. For now, get it here!
Changes are all from CM upstream, and may not be noticeable.
As another update, this may be the last build for a while. I'm busy with finals, and working on a slightly larger project than just a CM9 kang, along with a known developer. That's all you get for now!
I've started to experiencing a weird issue with Superuser after upgrading to a7. When prompted, Superuser doesn't remember anything that I've allowed. I had to allow several prompts just to load Titanium Backup. This issues isn't limited to Titanium, but to any app that requires root access. Right now I have Superuser set to automatically allow anything, and I'm not fond of leaving it on that setting. I've tried clearing the cache. They only thing I haven't done is delete Superuser using Titanium (since it's a system app) and then reinstalling it through the market.
