This is weird. To change the statusbar background we need to change the status_bar_background.png inside the systemui.apk. Right?

But i dont know why it did not change the statusbar.

Probably we should ask doc or pulser at vrtheme thread? Since doc surgeon based on vrtheme?

Im sorry i cant help gecko, probably someone else can. Or you should ask at themes thread?

I no i dont get it thanks for trying, yeeeah probably a good idea to ask Doc with it being his theme.

This is a good thread for an easy way of modifying your status bar:

How about this, go for a clean installation, i mean just for kicks, the base comes with 1.1 red pill, just flash 1.3 over it, do not install any set CPU or voltage control, install all your apps, games whatever and use your phone for two to three days and report back:)

Ok i will try again after i came back from airport next 3 days.

wow, at least you r on right track buddy.

Mind to tell me how if you success gecko?

But please dont ask me to edit the xml since i dont know how to :D

Sure but its pretty much how u said to do it lol, i just flashed a different theme over docs surgeon this 1 here http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1229723 i opened the statusbar_background.png in the above VRT Theme (think thats the name of the backround png) inside the System UI folder in Photoshop then i adjusted it to my liking then i saved it over the original then i flashed the stock samsung theme over Docs surgeon, then flashed the Glass VRT Theme over that and there was my image :) i had a look in the xml files and i found were the status bar background was and its linked to the drawable in the System UI folder so changing that png should change the background, but i think Doc must have set it to select the png from else were because it just wont change on his theme/surgeon shame really as i really like his theme, anyway heres a pic of what i achieved you can see its stretched slightly.

Well tw doesn't support a changed dpi value. You have to use another launcher like go launcher.
Can't really help you with the theme stuff, sorry.

If you read through this thread you will find that quite a few people have had problems with the ICS theme ontop of Hyperdroid. The most common being wrong DPI. It seems the Verts themes are best run at 240 DPI. If you've loaded one of the surgeons with V6 or V7, then they default to 160, and you will need to set it back to 240 before you try and flash the ICS theme.

I'd rather them be away and busy then spending time on here answering people's questions to be fair. They're obviously too busy either developing or enjoying their life outside developing to be posting so leave them to it and as for when.......when they and it is ready.

TIP FOR THE PDROID APP:

- I love to see all what is going on, so I have the notifications for ANY movement from any application activated. But something that I personally find very annoying is that the notifications are not "click through". I have to wait until all the pop-ups go through before I can use... for example the lower part of the keyboard for typing...

Thank you.

(Huge props to s2d4 for his extensive testing to the point of breaking... we took the risk of breaking our devices so you won't have too... fully tested tweaks here!)
