Tried v3.1.9.4j...

Overnight drain was next to nothing close to 7h and still 100% - Brilliant...

BUT..

Once I used it, it was very laggy and choppy even when OC'd, and my Nexus ran quite warm with this version..

What governor? Im guessing you used ondemand. It is smooth on interactive

it was interactive as you recommended only interactive for your kernels...mind you, the previous versions ie. 3.1, 3.1.5, etc worked great...even when i UC'd it was soo smooth and pretty fast, battery was amazing too and did not make the phone heat up...

maybe my phone didnt like the latest version...

No problem, just so you know here's my setup:

- Auto Brightness
- Auto Sync
- Mobile data all the time
- Stock battery
- 200++ apps
- Latest Slim ICS rom
- Best screen on time: 3h20++ mins

For you info, your kernel and Trinity has given me the best performance and battery Life...however, I have yet to see the magical 4hour+ screen on time like some of the guys here..

sync off, lower brightness, 2000mah and you're golden. though i can say i barely broke 5 hours twice with 1750mah wifi only. using root dim i broke 6 hours once. hehe.

If you want, post a logcat and I will see if there is anything...

Should be able to sync and get it, unless there is a hungry app ala facebook

yeah but i wanna use the phone to the maximum..meaning push notifications and all that jazz..plus i lovely the screen so much i wouldnt do it justice by using a lower brightness setting....i think the key thing is that im on mobile data only...

I check my mail too much to do push. Maybe lower it a set interval. Strong signal will help tremendously. Could be the difference between another hour or two extra screen time if signal is strong.

let it be.

v3.1.9.4j posted on my twitter https://twitter.com/#!/ogdobber/status/197711450398134275

Added one new feature at the last minute...gamma control. this is different than gamma V1 and color control.

to adjust, change value in 007tweaks and reboot.

or to see an immediate result open terminal emulator on the phone
type su
echo "1-10" > /sys/devices/platform/omapdss/manager0/gamma

so....
Code:
echo 6 > /sys/devices/platform/omapdss/manager0/gamma
-will slightly darken the screen

protip- because typing in the terminal is tedious, create a file in google drive and name it "gamma"
enter the text echo 6 > /sys/devices/platform/omapdss/manager0/gamma
and save
then when you want to change the gamma value, it is easy to edit in drive, select all and copy and paste to terminal

Thx, just flashed. Is the 007 tweak "on" by default? I didn't see the .bkk after the 007tweak file.

By the way, do I need to reboot if I make changes to the tweak file?

this is the results of the latest jame bond test kernel v3.1.9.4j. doesn't seem like it was 100% stable for all users (a couple verizon users reported signal drops) Anyways, I am pretty happy, over 1 day with almost 6hr screen is great.
2000mAh battery and full sync (but really with heavy use, it kinda throws that out the window...except for the fact that I had 0 drop over each of the 2 nights)
the pictures show the battery state throughout the run...came short of the goal of 6 hours screen, if you look at 50% it was on pace at 3hrs... A little more aggressive use would've gotten it. But seriously, who can possibly burn that much time on their phone in a day regularly??
Next version will be tweaked a little so hopefully it will work for all (and not loose what has been seen on battery)
btw, yes, that was a waste of a day o_0

holy **** OG! Amazing! I get awesome battery but can't touch you GSM guys. I'm happy to blow 5 hours of screen on time away but not over that long!
Dude that's insane, at 2+ hours of screen on time with 70% left :what:
Important to add this was at 350-1200 no 720 Max!
