[ROM] [UPDATE - 03/25] PG58IMG.zip - ICS for Sensation via Bootloader

Flashed this everything works great but no ringtones or HTC app for ringtones to be changed. Going through settings causes a crash report to send to HTC. Using the personalise option tells me this app is not installed. Flashed this twice both times after full wipes.

Same here..everything works but setting a ringtone and I have HTC Sensation XE so it should work

It seems somehow that this issue is related to the device.

Rigth now I have done and finished the ROM for my device (non XE) and everything is working. I have no idea why this damn Ringtone and this things will not work.

Currently the ROM is uploading. Tomorrow morning you will have the link.

Did both files on a normal device. Never saw this bevore. And I have tested both files on 2 Devices.

What Image you have installed bevore? It seems the comlete Image is somehow broken.

Uhhh... Anyone else with this problem??

I know this problem from my HD2 device. If you have to often flashed the device your Memory becomes corrupt.
Solution was to flash an official and untouched RUU to it which fix the partition layout.

My recomendation would be to flash ANY RUU to the device. Let it boot, do some settings & reboot.

When it's back, power off and flash my file again. Don't care about S-OFF because you will keep this even with RUU flashing.

If you can do it - would be great. Let me know what will happens.

I'm looking for a stock build for my TMOUS Sensation too. Which version did you flash on your device?

Yes. S-OFF is required for this ROM.

I still don't know where and how HTC check the installation files.

Do some radio's cause issues on this ROM?

I have my sisters TMOUSA HTC Sensation 4G running ARHD6.5.1 with a gingerbread radio that works fine along with firmware required to run that ROM.

Should I be okay by just loading this up? Sorry if I'm missing something, I'm usually over on the CDMA devices and I'm a noob here.

For what it's worth, my voice and data reception seem to be okay or no different than stock along with my wifi data. I'm on TMO here in the US. My GPS is also locking on pretty quickly.

What problems did you have on ARHD?

hi,

i mistakenly flash the rom for xe on my sensation as thought it with beats audio, and now in bootloader i have instead of pyramid on first line its written "locked" and after that its says incorrect model id. Then i came back to this thread and read again and realized a wrong version so i downloaded for sensation and put on root now it says incorrect CID.
Can anyone please help? i think i screwed my mobile big time!!
any help would be grateful.

Now the last update is done.
Superuser is working by default and everything else.

Over 1200 downloads and no one has problems.
