I know there is much out there on wakelocks. I use better battery and wakelock detector. My stock 4.3 note 2 will not go to deep sleep when connected to my Asus rt-n56u router, which is running the latest firmware from Asus. If I turn off WiFi on my note 2 and just let it connect to 4g, it sleeps without issue. Turn on WiFi, it stays awake. I've tried a static ip on the phone. I've tried reserving ip address for my note 2's Mac address in the router. I'm all out of options here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
