I'm okay with that. My money is a pittance compared to that! (Grad school assistantship). You'll probably have trouble qualifying for it though! :D :p As low as the money is, it is surprising as to how selective they get in picking their employees! :D I'm officially below poverty line for this tax year (as I only worked for part of the year.. :p). I'll barely make it next time.

Btw, I'll probably be unqualified for your job too. But not to worry, I can pay to train myself, get trained, take your money and still get more than I make! :D :p

I actually have no qualifications. My mom is the property real estate manager!!!

Yes its good money I make 15 dollars an hour when I'm out here.. but the work is spread thin, if something ain't broke I don't get to work... and actually its two contracts, one mon-fri.@ 15 dollars an hour.. the other 1200 dollars flat, sat, sun, buy. I'm splitting it 50/50 with my older brother. So far all I've done is change some old light bulbs, inspect fire extinguishers, and install a hand towel dispenser!!!

I make 14.50 to sit at a computer for 8 hours a day. Its boring but thats why I have XDA to keep me busy. lol

Well, as you know, teachers (at least in the South) make crapola for money. I'm never bored unless it's state standardized testing time... which it is this week. And guess what I discovered? Our school district, who blocks nearly every website from our computer, neglected to catch and block XDA. Sitting in my classroom now, on my planning period... XDA'ing. This is the life. :p

So you a teacher? Kewl... A teacher who is tech-savvy? Kewler... :p Teach those damn kids woman! I am a TA in a course and am bewildered by the constant amateurism that those Benihana rejects bring to the class.

The above comment is 66% recycled Scrubs punchlines. Go green! :D :p

Dam my moms a teacher here in NJ. She says the pay sucks but NJ also is supposed to have really good certification. I wish I had a teacher as cool as you. I'm stuck with like 75 yr olds that can barely walk. My history teacher on the other hand is 24 and is relatively attractive ;). What do you teach?

Sounds like my high school teachers and my college professors... the TA's, on the other hand, were cool (generally). I had one hot high school teacher. Same situation - he was right out of school (so 24-ish), which automatically made him hot. LOL My students tell me I'm not a "normal" teacher... taking a look around our campus, I take that as a compliment. HA!

You got it!! :D

Dam I need her. English test next period on life of pi....probably should have red...

That maaaaay be a book that you would want to read... lol. A bit boring, if you ask me. ;) Good luck! :p

I never read boks for english class. I always passed with good grades though. lol

You were of those students who infuriated teachers, weren't you? Because you didn't do the work/reading, but you earned good grade based on your natural intelligence?? ;) LOL

Well I always had teachers that assigned chapters to read for homework, but then the next day they just went over the chapters in class. I just took notes and studied those. lol

That is two quotes put together. Dr. Cox's "constant amateurism" and Kelso's "Benihana rejects". I almost have no life. So, I see re-runs of this constantly. Probably watched it "at least" 10 times so far. Heck, I think I watched it 3-4 times over the last 3-4 months... :D I watch other shows too but this one is soo well done!

    OK more in depth reply;

I personally believe that the United States should let Unicorn's on the front lines of battle. They have a natural bayonet attached to their heads. Plus unicorns are not only cheaper to operate, but they are easier to apply extra armor to than Humvee's. As well as being able to carry more soldiers in and out of the battlefield faster, obviously.

To answer your earlier question, I think that all unicorns should indeed pool their knowledge into one collective "hive mind" as it would make all combat unicorns more informed as to what's happening during battle. If one unicorn happens to spot an enemy sniper - now all unicorns know where he is and can act accordingly.

Of course that's where the whole stem cell debate comes into play. What few people seem to realize is that if a unicorn is wounded in combat and he looses his horn, the only way to get it back is with magic unicorn stem cells. The only place you can get these magic stem cells is at the home of all unicorns, Unicornacopia. Oddly enough, the magic stem cells don't even come from the unicorns themselves, they come from kittens. In order to extract enough stem cells to repair just one horn, 4 kitties must die. This is where "ethics" come into play because nobody wants the blood of dead kittens on their hands. However in Unicornacopia kittens are the equal to our spiders, so the unicorns don't really care. Why should we?

Anyways I have a solution. We should let unicorns serve on the front lines and if they lose their horn during battle we can simply retire them to a veterans ranch where they will serve out the rest of their days of service as horses in non-combat situations while they await their stem cells from the kittens.

So that's my $0.02 on the situation. Guys I set up a donation fund to help the unicorns, if you're interested. If you have any kittens you would like to donate to be merciless slaughtered to save a unicorns horn, please visit www.kittensforunicornhorns.org and navigate to the donate page. :)

    Thanks in advance...

    Re: [Off-Topic]Everyone welcome

Actually this thread has helped many people on this device in the past. Although it is primarily off topic we have had many questions posted in here from this device and many other devices. All questions were always answered and people helped. After all this thread/devices forums personified what XDA should be. A thread where new users and experienced users can come together with questions about devices. Most of XDAs forums/threads I have been in have been full of rude know it alls that persecute "noobs". No persecution was ever tolerated in this forum or thread...not by moderators but by us users. Noobs should be helped and that is the only way the custom rom scene will grow into more then it is today. I know this will not save my thread but I hope all moderators see this and put a firm leg down on rude people that persecute noobs. After all...in every noob is the future of XDA development.

Good day to all my XDA friends and long live the DX2 and noobs!

I'm gonna start paying tonight. Might not be on tonight. So of the thread is closed by tomorrow I just wanna say that it was good while it lasted. No where else could I go and talk about technology and other crap like I could here. I hate that the mods are doing this but oh well. I'll see everyone around here maybe. Always good talking to you guys.
