Kernel -stock, Recovery - stock

If you needs wipe user data, open recovery and select WIPE DATA/FACTORY RESET

DEODEX - deodexed & zipaligned all apk /system/app & jar /system/framework

Now you are free to choose what kind of modem and location you prefer to use it because the firmware is divided into three parts
CODE - PDA, MODEM - RADIO, CSC - LOCATION

[TOOL] TAR.MD5 PACKAGER

Packager firmware and their individual parts into .tar.md5 for subsequent flash via Odin under Windows

Put your ROM.tar.md5 into folder \in, or put parts of rom into \parts, run TAR.MD5 PACKAGER
Select option [3. Extract ROM] - for extract pars of rom into folder \parts
Select option [1. Make TAR] - for packing CSC.tar
Select option [2. Add MD5 to TAR] - for convert .tar to .tar.md5

It also lacks my csc, but not so important. Almost never used the original csc in all my phones galaxy series from S to actual S4

I'm still downloading the rom ...

it's a lot better than no root , i was waiting for triangle away , but this will do for now
when triangle way is out i'll start flashing CWM and kernels

Let me just confirm again to really make sure: this method will flash rooted stock rom so that I will have a rooted stock phone without losing warranty?

Because I have a problem with my s4 screen, will go to service center later but it will be great if I can have a root without losing my warranty. To go back unrooted I just have to flash the stock rom again via Odin right?

Having a rooted phone is enough for me now as long as there hasn't been any method to reset the binary counter.

Ho to make your self CSC for flash via odin

Take cache.img and hidden.img from stock rom, put into temp folder on sdcard,
pack it into .tar via root explorer and flash via odin
so you can add md5 summ for tar archive:
run terminal and enter:

$ md5sum -t my_csc.tar >> my_csc.tar
$ mv my_csc.tar my_csc.tar.md5

@ai 9000 please, can say us what is it that file? It is in your rom XXUAME1 ODEX

Another thing, XXUAME1 have wifi issue as all other rom which I have tried! If set in wifi "standby always" or "standby only when connected" when phone go out from standby, the wifi cannot connect: will be necessary disconnect then reconnect from wifi icon. If in wifi settings set "never go in standby" wifi work fine, without issue.
My router is Billion Bipac 7402NX, not one bad D-link.

This file is have in any rom of devices sIII NII sIV, i think this for s- voice..

What if we only flash the PDA section? This method will still work?

Or should we flash all 3 parts of the firmware to make it work?
