well this is my opinion about the motorola too...
soon only the "famous" samsung smartphones will be usefull
+1 here... no more LG smartphone, and/or nvidia included components without source/specs! waiting for a 4-core (not a nvidia one )

try the Antutu battery saver app too, its have real battery saving potential. this is not a commercial for the antutu
Hey guys, how much is your temps (ºC) when using 1408MHz? I have put this OC profile, and used for a time, but I feel the phone hot, and when I open Myrt OTF, i saw a temp of 84ºC, it's the normal temp at that freq? Or it says to me that my hardware doesn't support this clock speed?
"who tryed the latest beta version:
- in and out calls are ok?"
I made a phone call but they didn't hear me at the other side. With beta kernel. I also installed Antutu CPU Master and I set profiles but I don't think that's the problem.
Your HW monitor in the APP seems to be false... 84°C is VERY hot! (you should feel it even without Myrt OTF - and your phone should not be working "normally" under these conditions). I'm using 1.4GHz and did not notice any temperature error / too high with that version of the kernel (even while charging / heavy usage).
May be just a °F / °C conversion or display problem?
mmm...i have a nandroid backup if is a kernel problem...
EDIT: data and wifi not working...going to restore the nandroid backup...

The phone was functioning normally, I was playing a game (Death Rally) and it gets a bit hot, and I go see the temps, because I have just flashed it. I watch in Myrt OTF, and after in System Tuner, and the temps was at that level, a XDA friend, has said to me that the maximum temp of Tegra2 is 70ºC, so I put the phone at 800 MHz in the moment and let it cool down in off-screen mode. My battery jumps from 34ºC to 40ºC in 2 minutes, the time that I played.
Using a stock battery? Your case seems really strange, my phone already got up to 50°C and I REALLY felt the heat. At 84°C I'm not sure that the feeling is 'quite hot' but 'on fire!' lol
But system panel AND myrt could not be wrong... may be the battery sensor?...
I don't have many ideas, but even your phone's hot, 84°C should not work, damage the phone & so on... It is more probably a sensor or batt' driver problem, I think...
My 2 cents. Can you try with another battery or another kernel version?
Sent from my Optimus 2X using XDA
Nah, I'm sure LG did hide some more..
Btw, I found an interesting thread, maybe you want to have a look at the recommended tweaks they did there: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1621808
Or maybe your kernel is already tweaked better - I don't really understand this kernel stuff, but at the thread I mentioned are nice explanations at the bottom of the first post
