see cache usage i doubt is there

tbh, all I have in my /cache/ is an empty lost+found folder and a2 logs in the recovery folder.

Must be in data somewhere, I do suspect /sdcard/android/data/ but not sure where in there tbh ;s

might be a silly question , but this update will have updated firmware with better touch drivers and proximity fix ( atleast it should?)

The easiest way to do it is follow the instructions here - http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=5793684&postcount=1

Basically you run a logcat and output to a txt file, you accept the OTA then it will save the URL of the OTA to the logcat so we can download it!

Thanks, was trying to find this, anyone wanna cancel the download and give it a spin? @D

Infact, you just have to logcat and look for the line like

W/SystemUpdateHelper( 64): !!! REBOOTING TO INSTALL /cache/desirec-ota-104882.7b1e5cca.zip !!!

From 1.29 it does indeed have new touch panel drivers, jury is still out on the proximity stuff but you will see for yourself soon enough I guess!

You didn't install it yet right? :p
Also if you haven't done so already, use the menu on the left to make / r/w as it might hide some stuff.

No, I did not install it yet. :p But still cannot find it ! :(

Ok enough is enough. Look this is a development forum. Not some play ground for people to argue about updates to an almost dead device. IF you got the update then cool. IF not then either wait for it or flash one of the zips floating around.

I dont want to have to close this thread but if the childish bickering back and forth then I will close it.

Hey guys, let me step in here and clear up some things.

    1. As much as you may be excited about letting us know you have updated. Don't.
    • If you must say thanks, simply click the thanks button of the OP or the post that helped you, and move on.

    2. Keep all discussion in this thread on topic and helpful.
    • All post should add value to this thread and be helpful to the rest of the community in some way.

    3. Finally, if you are from a different site, don't be coming on XDA telling people they better mention your site.
    • XDA is not the place to advertise your site. Any posts of this nature will be considered as spam and will be removed.

Sorry for the interruption. Carry on :)
