st15, compared to original camera, cm7 camera quite disappointing! especially the video recording, the sound too low!
Hm, i have ST15i, i just happened to have recorded video with it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2fFWK2xiKA4 Quality is ok, and the sound is ok. Could you upload you video, speaking normally, then we could compare it.

yeah my problem same as you,i dislike camera cm 7 rom because poor,i like camera stock rom but i can't push to cm 7 rom.

In the last versions of FXP CM7.2 that I tried, was it located in "Settings"->"Device Settings" Have you tried it?

on change log i see there is FXP114 version, but where are download links

you will always see the changelog for new versions there that does not mean it is ready, wait for the op to post on the thread that it's released.
for the gps try to wipe everything and see what happens. And make sure to post the issues of cm9 on the cm9 thread here http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1445821 and the same answer try to wipe everything and try again see what happens
I can't confirm that.
It is usual behavior that the phone reboots after setting the layout.
Which layout did you choose?
- sometimes you need to do this twice (so boot - apply, reboot, reapply, reboot)
- maybe your special layout is not implemented corectly - try another layout - does that work?

I tried rebooting/applying even three times, as I do know sometimes once isn't enough. I was using UK layout as always.
Anyways, I managed to select the layout with the Freexperia Keyboard Changer app that was used in previous versions, so it works now.
Maybe the built-in changer problem was somehow specific to me.

HOWTO
to flash cm7 rom you have to take 3 steps (after unpacking the 7z archive)
step 1 - copy update.zip to sdcard
step 2 - flash new kernel (always use the kernel provided in CM7 / it is incompatible with stock ROM)
ON PC - run fastboot flash boot boot.img (an black window will open and will stay open untill kernel is flashed)
ON PHONE - put phone in fastboot mode (power off then press volume up and plug usb cable) and phone LED will light BLUE
step 3 - when phone is booting (first 5 seconds) press volume down key several times to enter recovery and choose apply update from sdcard
WARNING - if you used another rom (stock or custom) you have to wipe data or device will not boot
