My idea is similar, but I hate browser and wireless connection.
And I don't want have a port of all launcher home, or other. I'm interested on only GSM function and some gem. So, something like calls, SMSs, contacts, air-plane mode, and so on. But power still be in no wifi, no bluetooth, no browser.

Can you exec java in command promp and send me output?

Start --> "cmd" --> Enter --> "cd Documents/where-you-put-jar/" --> "java -jar Android Remote Phone Tools.jar"

Got the same thing - double click file, nothing happens. Output is "Unable to access jarfile Android"

Make sure you have an actual Java x64 applet installed - it won't open unless you do, and I was using a x86 applet, so this fixed it:

http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

Then download the x64 version.

for the dev - once I got it up and running, it ran for a minute and then stopped, meaning all the contacts disappeared and showed 0, no connection, and the refresh icon didn't work to get it back up.... had to unplug it and plug it back in and manually start the app on my AT&T Galaxy S III, it worked for a minute and then said "unfortunately, remote phone tools has stopped" and the app on the PC froze for a sec and then showed 0 contacts and no connection again.... any thoughts? I like the app so far, just want it to be stable to be actually usable!

Same results here with a Galaxy S3 SGH-i747 running CM10. App on PC keeps looping between connected and not connected, APK on phone keeps force closing and relaunching. Uninstalled, as it froze up both my phone and my PC.

Also, I had to launch it from the command line, double-clicking didn't load up the GUI (but it spawned processes that sat in the background at 100% CPU time)

    Coming soon

    Hi guys,
after a week of holiday and new keyboard (old one is died...) I noticed new activity in this thread and this makes me really happy! Well done!! ;)

    Questions:
    - Whatsapp: this could be an important update. I think it's support could came in future, but by now priority is set to classic SMS, and all other important log (as calls log, information in contact and so on)
    - MediaFire: I'll provide next update in DepositeFile and MediaFire
    - 32-64bit: in next version will be finally a unified version (Linux-Windows-Mac;32-64), so don't worry about that. Anyway MAC version doesn't work by now, but I'm working on it. Some MAC-beta-tester will be very appreciated!

    Next update:
    Code:
    - Fixed codifying for right-to-left languages (set to UTF-8 as default)
    - Add support to calls log (with day, hours and duration of each call)
    - Fixed contacts issue (in some devices)
    - Fixed constant crash (in some devices)
    - APK translation (in english)
    - Added some inflated setting (try press right click everywhere :P)
    - Improved Windows support
    - Added minor pop-up menus (Cut/Copy/Paste/...)
    - Minor fix

I hope I will host next version in a couple of day, so stay tunned! ;)
