On 5.4 extreme, wifi doesn't work.

Reverted back to 5.3 extreme and ok.

wifi works for me bro.. Try reinstalling after using a kernel cleaning script

****, I forgot to include RADIO FM FIX!!!

Now, I haven't time to fix (I am at work), but you can fix manually

If you want solve by yourserf, download a terminal emulator from market and digit:
su
insmod /lib/modules/Si4709_driver.ko

Just two little questions about this fm radio fix:

1. Is this a permanent fix or something to do after every reboot?

EDIT:
Just tested ... unfortunately this fm radio fix is not permanent. After reboot, fm radio does not work and you have to type it again into the terminal emulator.

2. Will you re-upload fixed Phenomenal 5.4 versions (when you have the time to do it)?

Thanks in advance !

Of course he will! Patience is a virtue...

1. Put it in a init.d script or customboot.sh

2. Right before midnight or about 10pm CET he will publish a fixed version.

No offence mate :D

Swyped from my GT-I9100 using XDA App.

New top performance with Omega v13 and Phenomenal 5.4 Medium.
Better result never seen on my SGS2, without overclock.

Sent from SGS2 - Omega ICS supporter

Is this a bug?

Hello fenomeno83, I have installed Phenomenal 5.4 Extreme and I found that where it says SDCARD is the internal memory and where it says internal SD is external, how can be fixed!?

Download and install "batterbattey sats" from the market and install..

Then you can see which "wakelocks" are not letting your device go into deep sleep..

You have most likey an app which is causing this, or did you notice this with you device charging??

When on charge, no phone go to deep sleep because their is no need when it reciving an constant power supply. ;)

Not a Bug and not related to phenomenal, its left from speedmod.

Hardcore says its related to the only official CWM Implementation from Koush, he will always follow his guidance, if he will flip the mountpoints, hardcore will follow and so will Phenomenal.

Results for SpeedMod / Phenomenal / Siyah / N.E.A.K. / stock kernels

Everything is specific to my phone, my "normal" usage and my home location. Most values are exact results, but some are rounded. I usually have wifi, synch (three email accounts, calendar and news), Google Talk and Skype on.
For all custom kernels, I was running on ICS XWLPD (stock) ROM.
For stock kernels, I was running on the corresponding stock ROM.
Always using the Samsung's standard / stock 1650mAh battery.
For all kernels, I have changed nothing - just default settings.

I flashed Phenomenal 5.4 Extreme and added its results.

Here are my current results:

(*) In order to get a value, which allows to compare test results with different screen on times for mixed usage battery tests, I tried to „normalized“ the battery loss per hour with the following formula:
loss*(1-screen): battery loss in % (per hours) * (100% - screen on time in %)
So, it would be the battery loss in % (per hour) for the screen off time.
That is how a kernel with the same battery loss per hour will get a better/lower value, if it has more screen on time. (And the other way round.)

Phenomenal 5.4 Extreme is stable, smooth and has very good battery life on my phone.
For my light usage, there is no significant difference in battery life to XWLPD stock kernel.
Hmm ... maybe I have to verify my results in a second battery cycle.
