Do you try to deactivate haptic feedback under sounds? But i guess that the four buttons under the screen give no feedback as well.

Hi, im on nightly on CM7. Can i had calendar lg just with copy apk in /Sytem/App or i have to get this rom. I wan keep cm7 because for update. Thanks

Using this ROM since the 21/02 with Vadonka's kernel.

ICS ROM for me? ... only if Gueste and Temasek build it.

Installed 3.2 with the latest etana kernel (previously installade over 3.1).. no boot.

now Trying to change kernel..

Update:
no previous kernel on SD.. deleted yesterday

no microSD adapter
No boot in SW mode.. only in clockworkmod recovery.
No stuck on "installing update" in CWM..

Update 2:
re-clear cache+dalvik+battery (no data)
retry to reinstall gueste 3.2 .. go OK!
try to boot.. Yes!
now reinstalled latest etana kernel + LG stock mount patch for 3.2
reclear all except data...
IT BOOT!

Hi Stefan,

This is a bit OT but I was hoping you could help me. I managed to extract both LG Calendar and Memo widgets from your ROM and installed them on my device (I'm on Temasek's KANG) and while calendar seems to work just fine, the memo widget keeps FC.

These are the files I copied to /system/app: Calendar.apk, CalendarProvider.apk, CalendarWidget.apk and MemoWidget.apk. Did I miss something?

Update: I was missing the LGMemo.apk. Copied it to the system/app folder and everything works now!

V3.2 installed, latest etana kernel updated.. but no way.. my alarms issue is my best friend now

The alarm refuse to work in airplane mode..stock alarm app, alarmdroid and others.. so no app-related issue.

- Set up an alarm
- Put the phone in airplane mode
- Put me in a 180° position and stand-by mode for 7-8 hours

- At the morning I need someone that pull me out the bed because the phone sleep like me

In this state.. If I take the phone and wake it up pressing the power button, the screen goes on and the alarm start working.. a little too late

any suggestion?
(clear cache/dalvik has no effect, full wipe has no effect..)

Only suggestion is unplugging the phone during night! Heard of this before where it only happened when phone was plugged. Also I can't explain as the ROM is very much like it's kang base, no aggressive tweaks by me!

things i hope can be looked at.

from earlier i used many different ROMs, yours being the best of the lot imo, i have found some odd bugs that have always been there.

alarm clocks. when i set just one alarm, it skips. the first always skips. the next day it works, but the first instance it does not. i set many alarms for different things and theyall go off, only the first ever after a flash skips.

when i was playing around with settings. randomly turning off and on both wiifi and data the same time, caused a reboot. - i believe it was me giving my phone a heart attack.

otherwise its been the best rom i've used. totally excellent.

you should be proud, and i will be giving you a payment for it. as i feel you deserve it.

Hello! So reading your comment sounds like you have a very stable rom. I'm currently using NOVA HD+ RC13-27 (CM9) Kang, and so far is been working great, but there's some things that aren't working; video recording, front face camera skype. When I'm charging I'm keeping it on "awake" to avoid SOD's. But sometimes gets too HOT (while charging).
Do you recommend to get Gueste2x v3.1 TemasekTurbo Minimalist? If so can you share the link? Would this rom avoid all the downsides I just mention before?

I'll try the unplugging mode

So.. airplane+charge is the "trick".. mmm it sound strange.
If can help.. I found this issue with an old LG stock rom (not with the latest).
I ask myself what's the reason of the interference/interaction between charge/plane/alarms.. apparently separated "tasks".
Could be interesting to investigate

Stefan, a question: do you think the latest v3.2 gueste could have an incremented battery drain than v3.1 (having same kernel obviously) due to some new (or changed) implementation?
