Can anybody tell me how to revert back to stock firmware after flashing to Cynamogen 10.2. I have tried various firmwares, after installing TWRP, but have to say that all are found extremely lacking. The touch sensor on the tablet feels worse after installing the firmwares as compared to the stock firmware that they tablet came with.

Therefore, I would like to revert back to the stock firmware for which TWRP has to be replaced by the stock thing first and only then can I flash the device with a stock firmware. Looking forward to some support.

It worked fine for be without replacing anything. After flashing with Phoenix suite twrp is gone.

Strange!!

Everytime I make an attempt to install the official firmware, Phoenix Suite reboots the device (which is the actual process to install) into recovery mode which incidentally boots into TWRP thus rendering the process unable to proceed further. It is therefore highly unlikely that you could have done it.

Perhaps, you are missing something that you had to do before you could use Phoenix Suite?

I don't do anything before using Phoenix. Maybe you should ask Christian Troy @ statedroid for more informations.

Hi,Guys! I yesterday flashing NOVO9 of my son with FW a31_ainol_novo906fc_SG_3.2_1.5_v1.img. It is silver back door with black frame around the display. So I flash version for SG. ERROR!!!! Half display (right, when the camera is in the left) not response for touch!!! So, then I flash LX version and all is OK. Probably not true that for black version is SG firmware.

I think the only real difference between SG & LX could be the touch panel then, problem is its unclear which models need which version. I have dark grey back with black screen frame model and both SG & LX firmwares work...

hello friends, i need your help to flash my ainol novo 9. The details of my novo 9 is the following:

Android version: 4.1.1
baseband version: 1.35
kernel version: 3.3.0
build number: novo9-Spark-20130320-LX-V1

I have a serious problem, without running anything i try to open a program or game and it takes around 5-10 minutes to open and its like stuck.
Also there are a lot of chinese applications which i want to remove.
Please suggest a stable and newer firmware to upgrade it to. In addition i need instruction on how to do the upgrade.
Thanks in advance.

friend i flashed it successfully with the cmboot_bootloader_TWRP_2gdata_750sys_v2.img.

I copied the cm-11-20131219-UNOFFICIAL-spark.zip 186MB to the sdcard.

I switch on the tablet but when i select install and choose the sdcard it doesnt show me the zip to select it so the installation start.

when i select the small windows upper left like cmd it says
E:Mount: unable to find partition for path /and-sec
E: Unmount: unable to find partition for path /and-sec
Updating partition details....

Please help

please ignore my message, after i restart it found the zip file and i flashed it ok.

Does anyone know if it's possible to repartition this device so large apps or apps with large data files can be installed? Or some way to install on the larger partition?

Issues and possible workarounds

* Accelerated video playback is supported by MX Player in HW+ mode and pretty much every file will play. For a better audio support (included DTS playback) have a look here.
* HDMI shows a picture but it doesn't fill the TV screen entirely (it's a kernel regression introduced with "SDK" 3.x kernels).
* A31's GPU doesn't play nice when it's used to render web pages. Up to 4.3 there was a way to force WebKit to use the CPU but now it's not possible anymore. Stock browser (and apps based on stock WebKit) will perform choppy but you can just install a browser that has its dedicated engine. Chrome and Opera will work perfectly for example. fixed with 4.4.1 WebKit
* Reboot to recovery performs a regular reboot. To reboot into recovery launch terminal emulator, type "su" and "reboot-recovery". After that just perform a reboot from the power menu.
* Maybe other things?

Instructions

* Turn on the tablet in recovery mode as explained in TWRP thread.
* If this is your first install select "Factory reset" from "Wipe" menu.
* Flash rom (cm-11-$DATE-UNOFFICIAL-spark.zip), gapps (gapps-kk44-core-a31.zip)
* Now select "Reboot".
* Enjoy CyanogenMod 11!

FAQs

* If your devices doesn't have a volume rocker you can install one of these apps to control volume from the notifications: Volume in notification, TrayVolume
* WiFi now can stay enabled with display turned off. Note that if WiFi is enabled the tablet won't enter deep sleep so if you're more interestead in battery life instead of an always on WiFi change policy (on "Advanced" WiFi settings) from "Always" to "Never".

    Step 2. Download firmware image from above link for your tablet and load it in PhoenixSuit. If you receive error in PhoenixSuit, you can try moving the firmware file to desktop. That worked for me.
