  1. Download the unrEVOked modified USB Driver from the Internet.
  2. Unzip the contents of the downloaded (android-usb-driver.zip) file
  3. Right Click on "android_winusb.inf" and click on install
  4. Enable USB debugging on your device in Settings > Applications > Development.
  5. Connect your MI-280 to your computer via USB cale
  6. In the device manager of your computer you will see a new hardware (a "?" will appear next to the name Spice phone) - right click on this and update driver and choose manual installation and point to the source as the folder created in step 2
  7. now the driver will get installed. this may take 5-10 minutes.
  8. follow the instructions on this you tube page "How to Root Android 2.3.4 Root (ENG) .flv"

I can't post the URLs as I'm still new.
The steps worked out ok for me. Hope this helps mate:).

i purchased recently spice mi280, im unble to use auto rotation function in this phone properly. when i restart my cell then it works for few minutes then once its rotated in portrait mode it doesnt go back to landscape mode. and bcoz of this im unable to play sensor related games. like speedX ... etc.. can anyone else facing same problem? how to resolve this? please reply

one more thing what reset code should be entered to reset to factory settings? i have tried many codes, code is not given in user manual also :( please reply as soon as possible....

to root spice mi 280 download SuperOneClick 2.3.3 it works for me hope it works for you thanks

just calibrate g sensor in factory mod

install usb driever
usb debug enable on android device
download from google search SuperOneClickv2.3.3-ShortFuse.zip
done...:D

MI 280 advanced option in recovery mod

there is no advanced option in recovery mode of Spice MI 280 Phone.
where i clear draviik cash data.
any idea for 'signature verification failed application aboard'
