I can only see the Defy (MB525) but not the Defy+ (MB 526) in the list.
Does this after all tell that the battery for Defy and Defy+ are the same?
Sadly my Defy works bad with Defy+ battery... I installed CM7.2, then I used the Defy+ battd, I reboot and the batery stay on 60% (fixed).
If I calibrate the battery jump to 100% and stay there. I think something is wrong, so i'll retry with battd and battery lib from 7.2 Defy+ version.

I have stock Froyo 2.2.2 running on Defy and got my battery replaced by motorola service center guys with HF5X one. But it is not charging beyond 80% (4.258 V).

it says for defy, and has 1500 mAh in it.
but my defy when charging stuck at 87%
same problem when defy using defy+ battery.
i took battd from MS2Ginger ROM but get no luck,
battery indicator displays "?" sign.
is there any way to edit battd file to suits my new battery?

Which feedback you mean? I'd like to check.
If you're interested I can compare original to eBay one. Just propose how to test.
Check this link and read the neutral feedback left by a buyer on April 22nd. He clearly states that it's a counterfeit product and he asked for refund which was done by seller.

OEM battery costs about $60, so do not expect much from a battery that's sold for 10% of the price of the original.

I have motorola MB525 defy bought in September 2011. Last week, my phone battery got deep discharged and the phone won't boot even after plugging in the charger.
As the phone was under warranty, i got the battery replaced yesterday but i got HF5X 1700mAh (the one in Defy+) as replacement. The service centre guy said that it would work with my Defy.
I kept the phone on charging for more than 12 hours continuously but the battery keeps charging and battery level is not going beyond 80%.

Its because may be u had a Froyo SBF as base. So you need to flash the GB kernel for CM7 to make CM72 Defy+ builds to work... Either that or flash Defy builds of CM7 and then flash the battery fixes for Defy+ and it should work. Basically its all about a battd.bin that is different! Sorry dnt have enough time so couldnt post links, search yourself..
