Awesome, can't wait to flash.

Is this based on CM or completely independent fork built from AOSP? If second, not many features are probably done yet right?

They are actually (ex) CM developers. With the recent changes in the CyanogenMod team, some devleopers decided to follow a different path and started OmniRom project.
Of course the project is based on Cyanogenmod which they contributed to for years, but in time, differences will be more obvious.
The good thing is, @pulser_g2 is with them, a guy is dedicated to Note 2 :)

Nope. it's not cm based.

Thanks...I was waiting to try this....

Edit: I just try this rom...there is no ROOT access....

And is a pure AOSP based rom with some bars and menu features--->Battery Style, show notification count and translucent lockscree status bar...

This is a beta so...for now its very good. Waiting for new settings.....this team is awesome....

Thanks!

No root? That is dealbreaker for me actually :(

Or it is like before where you can just flash SuperSU and it works?

    Tested:-
    Calls - Incoming/Outgoing
    2G/3G
    Messaging
    WiFi
    Bluetooth - File Transfer
    No Graphics Issues
    Sound is working as expected
    Music playback

    Not Working(N7100 only):-
    Video playback
Camera - Don't even try. Will cause instant reboot (tested stock camera and Focal)
Torch - Don't even try. Will cause instant reboot (tested OmniTorch & Tiny Flashlight + LED)
External SDCard - You can try mounting in settings/storage but it wouldn't do anything

P.S. 11/11 build doesn't include multiwindow. Also don't use art with pa gapps.
    P.P.S. Don't use 4.3/4.2/4.1 kernels with 11/11 build

    Hey guys,
I have decided to stop developing for a while.
I am a student and it is better for me to concentrate on studies.

So someone needs to take my place.
If you get a omni working on lollipop (just booting will do), I will hand over the project to you.
Otherwise I will abandon the project.

You guys can still enjoy the kitkat nightlies, till they last.
