Is there a Samsung support link, where I can report the bugs?
I know, the answer from the support will be "it's all chromecast's fault", but at least they'll have one bug report more.
I would like to share the fact that I downloaded and installed the firmware in the above link and its working perfectly fine.
My tablet is now smooth. Thanks to bro Safar Ibrahim
Don't bother. I used that FW and it still blows up if you pull down notifications when a ChromeCast is active. Get your isht together, Samsung!
Well I am a simple user. I use tablet for net surfing, light games and comminucation apps like skype etc.
I dont use chromecast rather I dont even know what it is so have not tried it.
Things that I use tablet for as mentioned above, this firmware is working fine so far. If I notice a bug, will most definitely share.

I'm in the UK using an Australian P605 and I'll be waiting another year for Telstra to update to Kitkat so I'm hoping to use a generic one for the UK. I'm not using Vodaphone or any carrier at the moment so I don't need a carrier-specific firmware anyway.
