Interesting. One question. How do you go to bootloader mode on Samsung or LG WP7 phones?

I´m stuck with T-Mobile and would prefer to use the generic HTC Europe ROM, to me it sounds like this should be the way to do it.

I just started to extract but got stuck in the middle, I guess I´m using the wrong tools :(

"Input file '02_OS.nb.payload' has no valid boot sector! Aborting."

I think it´s where I use NBSplit that I get it all wrong, since I´m quite new to this I used:
NBSplit.exe -kaiser 02_OS.nb

I´ll look around the forums some more for more information or a newer tool.

That's a really clever way to do it, well done ansar. I wonder, does this work for only HTC devices, or other manufacturers' bootloaders/images too?

edit: Sorry, I don't mean these actual NBHs, but rather the method used....

So should this rom work on any HD7?

RUU_Schubert_HTC_Europe_Mondrian_WWE_Radio_5.52.09.16_22.33a.50.10_by_ansar

Or do i have to take the o2.bin and put it into the wwe?

No Android Fanboys Please !!!
Dear forum members,

I successfully created and flashed the following two (2) WP7 ROM nbh images for the HD 7 device branded as Htc Europe.

- The first using the imgfs.bin from the Mondrian ROM, not sure of what branded device that can be downloaded from here:

.. Download link: https://rapidshare.com/files/437677...WE_Radio_5.52.09.16_22.33a.50.10_by_ansar.zip

- The second using the imgfs.bin from the

.. RUU_Schubert_hTC_Asia_SEA_WWE_1.57.728.02_Radio_5.52.09.16_22.33a.50.10_Signed_SCHUBERT_RELEASE.exe

.. This ROM is branded for South-east Asia (Singtel).

.. Download link: https://rapidshare.com/files/437702...WE_Radio_5.52.09.16_22.33a.50.10_by_ansar.zip

This proves that the imgfs.bin can be used from any branded device to any other branded device.

Only the imgfs.bin is replaced, all other as Radio, SPL and XIPs remain the initial of:

RUU_Schubert_HTC_Europe_1.60.401.01_Radio_5.52.09.16_22.33a.50.10_Signed_SCHUBERT_RELEASE.

Flashing is as simple as that:

Set the device in boot loader mode, connect it to your laptop/PC with a USB cable and double click on the provided ROMUpdateUtility.exe

Follow the on screen instructions as usual.

I hope a custom ROM it won't be so long.

Regards, ansar.

how did you get the imgfs.bin from a .nb file ?

Hi guys!
Great NEWS!!

Any of you can make some link to "download for newbbies" to install a clean rom multilanguage to other devices?
I have AT&T Surround in english and I could really use a multilanguage rom from hd7 for example, if I can keep the 3G bands from the surround (850/1900mhz).

thanks!
you ROCK!
