DonUber Maffia ROM

Introduction

I am just a beginner in ROM cooking and I want to share my first one, if anyone has tips for me, please mention it because the goal of this ROM was mainly learning how to build ROM's.
This is the ROM how I modded CM for myself ones, so I thought let's try to make a ROM from it, and this is it. Aiming for cleanness, battery durability and speed

ROM Info

Kernel: LorDModUE V8.5 - CFS (Thanks to Lord ClockaN)
Based on: the latest CM Nightly for Desire HD (Thanks to CM-Team)
ROM Size: 85.7MB

- All the features of the LordMod kernel.
- Downgraded market (2.3.6), Works much faster and doesn't give "Device Not Compatible" all the time like in the new market
- New Google Music Player (4.0.1)
- MIUI Camera (English), Better than the default camera app
- Density changed to 200
- Added some nice wallpapers (/sdcard/wallpaper)
- Increased VM heapsize (64M)
- WiFi Scanrate to 150
- Implemented ICS Theme (Thanks to Z25)
- Included ICS Analog Clock Widget
- Very clean, deleted some garbage and tried to install as less apps as possible.
- Normal use I achieve a battery durability of 36-48 hours
- And the rest: Just post your thoughts about what has to be added

- Orginal ICS_by_Z25.apk put into the ROM (Somethings pre-installed because other else they would not work. So the combination of the pre-install + choose in Themechooser it will work completly ) WHEN YOU FLASHED THE ROM CHOOSE ICS THEME IN THEMECHOOSER AND IT WILL WORK COMPLETELY! ALSO MOST FONTS!.

Thanks for support!!
I would suggest to use cfs instead of bfs.. BFS has some unexplained issues with connectivity

Battery Life

I tested the battery life of the ROM after I flashed it:

- Total of 48 hours. (WiFi always on)(No charging)
- 60min of film watching over UPnP(WiFi)
- 20min browsing with 3G/HSDPA on
- 1 hour just playing with some apps(WiFi on)
- 30min Music
- 20 min browsing over WiFi.
- 2 reboots

So I think the battery life is pretty good

Yes there are, VM Heapsize is changed, and some other little configs.

All Radios are compatible, you just have the find the one that works best with you network/area.

I've tried this ROM for a couple of days now, and it is fast as hell with good drain.

I like the theme, but a couple of standard buttons/fields are virtually invisible with this theme (eg: the "Clear" button on the pulldown notification area).

I only had one single weird little issue: I couldn't seem to do a large batch restore of user apps via Titanium Backup, no matter how many times I tried. It invariably ended up stalling. Single restores worked fine. This issue probably has NOTHING to do with the ROM itself, but I thought I would mention it because I've never once had problems with TiBu before, and someone might replicate it...

Download an LCD Density changer from the market or go into the zip of the ROM
beforre flashing in /system/ there is a file named build.prop and search for '
ro.sf.lcd_density' in it and change it to 240.

I will try it myself and report if it worked with me (I use MyBackup root normally and that works perfectly). Yes you are right that many buttons are badly visible but the clear button does work as it should because it's a blue cross?

same problem with titanium backup, it stopps everytime after some %. it is as desribed above, first time not working, other roms did work.
