Available OSes for GEN8 (CM7, Urukdroid 1.6, Debian,...) - update 08.01.11

Hi,
Ii bought my Archos device knowing it is a great developer device - anyway im not into porting linux,...
As there are many mobile OSes and i really want a "normal" linux on my 101 too, I thought about gathering all Informations about the different OSes so it's easier to choose one

Anyway this is what i know for now (will just include latest versions - unless there are different develoment stages):

Android:

• Froyo (2.2 ...)
  • Archos Stock 2.4.82 - (changes)
    
  • UrukDroid (download, server-link, homepage, wiki, development, bugs, TV, 3G)
    • Urukdroid 1.1RC1 (based on FW 2.3.38) - 1.1RC2 update - 1.1RC3 kernel
      • develoment stopped
      • Cinema-Plugin enabled
    • UrukDroid 1.6 (based on FW 2.4.81, Android 2.2.1), Changelog
      • OC module included
  • Overclocked Kernels for UD (DO NOT USE UNLESS U KNOW WHAT U ARE DOING)
    • releases by Sauron are always filed at his server
    • releases by Sibere are always linked in his Signature

• Gingerbread (2.3 ...)
  • openAOS Android Anoa (CM 7) - version 18.08.2011 (homepage, download, bugs)
  • openAOS Bull RC2

• Honeycomb (3.0 ...)
  • we will never see - due to missing sources
• ICS (4.0 ...)
  • ICS for Gen8 (wip, to be released)
• ...

other Linux:

• Linux Angström
  • Archos SDE, version ?

• Kubuntu
  • Kubuntu Mobile for GEN 8 Tablets, Pre-alpha Test release
  • Kubuntu (KDE Plasma Active) how to build

• Ubuntu
  • Bbodhilinux (Ubuntu based with Enlightenment), version Alpha 1 (development stopped as it seems)

  • noting yet, really like too see

  • Debian-Archos (XFCE4 Alpha 0.3, Gnome Beta 2,...)

If u now ask - how to use them - here is the answer:

• OpenAOS Multiboot
• UrukDroid AlternativeOS (UD >= v1.1 needed)
• or just installthe SDE and replace the rootfs.img file on the device with your deserved one (maby wont work for all OSes)

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS FOR QUESTIONS ABOUT OSes OR FOR BUGS,... this is just for gathering information about available OSes.

Could you please change links for UrukDroid. Some people use installation files without even reading a bit of documentation and this makes a lot of questions later.
Please point download files to proper download file section of UD wiki

cant trasnfer the files for urokdroid 1.6 it requier 164mb and when im in recovery mode and setup usb connection the hdd space that appears on the PC is only on 125mb, so what can i do?
