G2 Lag/Stutter (CM 11 M6)

So I've had the G2 for a couple of weeks now and I put CM11 on it as soon as I bought it. Recently, it has randomly started to lag and stutter. It's more when initially start using the phone, but it shows up here and there. When I press the power button to wake the phone, there is a short delay. Typing is also very annoying sometime as it can't keep up. When I press an app icon, it's like its waiting for another press but it eventually opens. Kind of like the youtube app but not as long of a delay. It's pretty irritating. I even switched to ART to see if it would go away but it didn't.

Is there a common cause for this issue? Any suggestions? I'm still kind of a noob with this stuff so...yeah. Any help would be appreciated.

I guess it was just the Trebuchet launcer in CM. After I switched to google now launcer most of the lag has gone away.
