[TUT]How to swap internal SD card with external SD card

Hi everyone , here is the way to do it

1 . Download root browser from play store

2. Browse to /system/etc/vold.fstab

3. Vold.fstab is the file to be replaced by this vold.fstab- http://db.tt/WLjGyBKK

4.reboot and check your storage in settings>storage

Never mind. Doesn't work on droid razr M it force closes the Settings app.

I can develop and give a method for that if you want....bcoz it has a different model/cpu

Thanks. It didn't work but I'll bet that it's because I'm using cyanogenmod and the directories are different. But I'll hang onto them fit when I switch back to stock.

Wich line i have to...

I been Reading tutorials, adn watching videos on YouTube, but this code line does not meet the specs, so i dont know i you guys could help wich line i should choose and edit

Hey guys...if u r owning canvas 2 then u can install bumblebee rom v2 which comes with SWAPPABLE INTERNAL STORAGE...first time ever in any custom rom..also this rom is soo good.
If u say than i can provide u wid the app(that modifies ur internal space) and u can test that wether it works on other roms as well.

    try es file explorer & give it to read write permission of root files

    to give permissions
    goto es file explorer
    tap on menu button
    scroll to tools->root explorer
    tap on it (give root permission via su popup if not given)
    a root menu will apear then tap on Mount r/w
    Root explorer manu will apear then tap on rw on both paths(/ &/system)
    tap on ok.

    Here, flash this and it will restore your mount points as well as swap the cards.. :good:

    No Thanks button pressing, no reply! :p

    But the short answer is, You can't re-partition ur External SD card to increase the phone Internal storage!
