Is the touch issues completely fixed now?

I'e just learned to live with it (even after the fix posed here). I assume others have done the same. Neither Google nor ASUS care to address this issue.
No, It's not over. I still face issues on an hourly basis. I don't think it will ever be solved if you ask me.
For what it's worth, I bought mine in January, and I haven't had any issues (of any kind) with it.

I had trouble with mine right out of the box which I first got in April. Did a factory reset and all was good until I upgraded to 4.4. A factory reset cleared it up again.
Mine doesn't have the smoothest scroll but otherwise it's been OK.
