Lost with versions

Hi,

My wife's S3 with nfc (I believe) is currently on:
BRAND: samsung
DEVICE: golden
MANUFACTURER: samsung
MODEL: GT-I8190
OS.VERSION: 3.0.31-967270
MODEL: GT-I8190
FINGERPRINT: samsung/goldenxx/golden:4.1.2/JZO54K/I8190XXAMB3:user/release-keys
BOOTLOADER: unknown
HARDWARE: samsunggolden
ID: JZO54K
PRODUCT: goldenxx
RADIO: I8190NXXAMG3

Several months ago I rooted it using the toolkit (I usually don't own samsungs so its new for me...) and installed Benz v6 and now I'd like to update if possible...
Could you please review the versions above and help me to recommend the most recent modem suitable which will work for me?

Use the search button and find the main page of that rom (in case you want to keep using it) otherwise there is plenty of other choises i would recomend CM 11. For me is the best one out there so far.

It was more question about the firmware and modem versions...

you come from Europe, so you need XX.... firmware and baseband.
Newest is XXXAMJ3 (October 2013)

Thanks! Does flashing this new firmware wipes the current data on the phone?

flashing .zip via TWRP doesn´t wipe data
flashing .tar via Odin does
