No european yet. I highly recommend ZSKP6 if you can handle english. very fast and good battery life

Install Firmware over the air would be my guess. but that doesnt concern the i9001. afaik, OTA updates are only available for SGSII and later models....

yup, ur assumption is correct. u can just flash whatever rom u like, as long as its an i9001 firmware! i myself flashed the zskp3 and it runs flawlessly so far planning to update to zskp6 with feamod 1.3 / adrenaline shot v13 and cranium RC3 soon, IF and WHEN i can find the time

I flashed I9001ZSKP6 few mins ago, english is included (like mentioned from the OP) works pretty well for now, i will give sum feedback in the I9001ZSKP6's Thread after few weeks

Mainly because the EU (XX) version has my swipe language
And although I prefer English OS myself also ;-) I want to SMS and mail in my own language ;-) I added Russian 2.3.6 firmware...it has more languages...Here you go
