What Up. I have successfully ported MIUI 4 to the Bionic. Took about a day (that sounds really cool saying it). But honestly my objective was to beat dhacker29 to it. I didn't think I was ACTUALLY going to do it. BUT I DID!!!!!!!! YEAH!!!!!! It's weird because I still consider my self a n00b but I just did this. Also a HUGE THANKS To @miui4eva FOR GETTING THIS IDEA IN MY HEAD. He gave me the links for MIUI Portation(made that word up) and I just went to work. Also THANKS TO dHacker29 for letting me use his ICS Rom as my base.
AND you Must be on the .902 Update!!

Last Updated: 03-01-12

Working:

4g (go to gsm only then wait for flash and go back to cdma/lte)

3g (*#*#4636#*#* then toggle gsm only then go to LTE/CDMA then go to CDMA only)

WiFi

Camera

Phone Calls

Text Messaging

Internal SDcard mounts to PC




Not working :

Video Camera

Front Facing Camera

External SDcard does not mount to PC



Bugs that Need to be Squished:

Data drops here and there

3g intermittent might be by location

Messaging app is Ioopy, can't just type name and send message actually have to go to phone book to message them.

Can't change wallpaper, well you can but your wallpaper will be black

Minor graphical glitches might be due to porting phone resolution or the cm9 buiId

Storage space inaccurate.

4g drains battery quickly... The team will have to do some more tests

nice dude also i believe when i miui on the epic you did have to download it so i believe this is just a issue with miui...

as far as i can tell as a tester.. data is a bit slow 3g only is supported at the moment a bit graphical glitches here and there keep in mind though most of the bugs lie within the cm9 base itself.. i am sure insanemod will be posting a official changelog/buglist soon ;)

sorry guys... I'm still trying to change the "updater-script". I keep getting "status 6 error". I want to get this done before anything else

Man I swear I'm still a noob... I got up at 6:30 this morning and was like "I'm gonna get this done" 3 hours later....history made

honestly I am a noob... the trick was finding an already ported miui4 rom for a Moto phone, compatible with the Droid Bionic. If its just MIUI it wont work... has to be MIUI 4.

    Build.Prop Tweaks

    I don't take any credit for figuring this stuff out. Mainly, I'm reverse engineering from the PropModder app (link) by n00bware. You might consider including that app in your builds, but it might invite disaster from users who don't understand its usage.

    The following are tweaks that you can make to the \system\build.prop file. If you open it in a text editor, you'll see a bunch of settings. Below are the easy ones to change, and a description of each one. The # symbol indicates the line is a comment, and is ignored by android. Most of these settings exist already, and just need to be changed. The TCP stack hacks at the end are additions. The 3G speed hack and SDCard buffer hack are also additions, but I don't remember the code at the moment.
