Does anyone know how to add eastern languages on keyboard input to this rom? Im looking to add Korean and Chinese (traditional) specifically. I know that I can switch out the system languages to them, but I want to keep that English while still being able to maneuver through multiple languages whenever I type.

Has anyone else experienced problems with the stock browser in this build? My problem is this: when I'm downloading something, it will say download unsuccessful right at the end. It's fine until the end and then it says it's unsuccessful. It uses the data but no file appears. Other browsers will download the identical file with no problems, but stock browser just can't do it.

Haven't had any issues with mine. Pretty much only use the stock browser too.

are there going to be any more updates for this rom?

If you look up about 10-15 posts you will see where Rohan is planning on a 4.2 update as well as an update to his kernel. I haven't switched to 4.2 yet specifically because his kernel isn't updated for it yet. I can't live without sweep 2 wake now. This ROM still runs great paired with his kernel though. I use multiple ROMs but this one is what my only nandroid backup is. I know I can always depend on KK.

I'm using Rohan's b6 kernel. I tried the b7 but I noticed more battery drain so I went back to b6. Sitting at 1512mhz max / 384mhz min, and globally undervolted by 50mv (but I don't go under 800mv on the lower frequencies).

Have a question. When I was using the PA rom, I was able to change dpi settings for the lockscreen (this was to make the clock smaller). Is there anyway to do that in this rom?

    What is King Kang?
King Kang is essentially a hybrid ROM - its a mixture of AOKP, CyanogenMod, and ParanoidAndroid, bringing all their customizations to one rock solid and quick ROM. These numerous features combine to create a blend of features not seen anywhere else before. Make the user interface yours with this ROM. Change the DPI the ROM runs at, tweak the interface to your hearts content, while enjoying great battery life and stability. Never before have these features combined to create a ROM as feature-packed as King Kang. Credits for the features goes directly to the teams responsible - AOKP and CM for their respective work, and ParanoidAndroid for their wonderful DPI on-the-fly modifications. Without these teams, this ROM would not be possible.

What is the future going to be like for King Kang?
Currently, it is heavily rooted in AOKP as its main base. As the ROM progresses, it will grow and extend its functionality. Want to see a feature from a different ROM that isn't here, or have an idea for a new feature that isn't currently in any other ROM out there? Fill out the feature request form located here so that we can bring it to you! http://kan.gd/1t88

What are the current features of King Kang?
    • All of AOKP's features
    • ParanoidAndroid per-app DPI changer
    • Apollo music player from Cyanogenmod
    • CMs Backuptool when flashing
More is coming soon! Feature request here: http://kan.gd/1t88

How do I install King Kang?
    1. Download the ROM from the box below
    2. Download the Google gapps from the box below
    3. Reboot into your recovery (TWRP is recommended)
    4. Wipe data if you are coming from a ROM besides King Kang
    5. Flash the King Kang ROM zip
    6. Flash the Google Apps zip
    7. Format your dalvik cache/normal cache
    8. Reboot
    9. Customize your experience to your heart's content!

    Google Apps: http://goo.im/gapps
Latest one for Jellybean (CM10) should work perfectly

    Information
Some AOKP features power over the ParanoidAndroid ones. For example, in order to get Tablet UI, you first need to check the "Tablet UI" option in ROM Control, then change it to the desired mode in Paranoid Android, and then reboot.

This ROM began as a creation by DAGr8 for Android 4.0, ICS. It offered a simple AOKP + PA combination.

The ROM is currently being built 100% from source. The "team", a.k.a. people maintaining and adding features from other ROMs is currently myself and DAGr8. Without the other teams though, this ROM would be nothing.

Too much has changed to list it all.
Poke around in the ROM to figure out what changed :)

A FULL WIPE/Factory Reset is HIGHLY recommended.

Tons of new AOKP features, bugfixes, CM updates, and more CM small features.

Sadly Per App Color did not make it into this build. Its coming soon, however.

    Enjoy
This will probably be the last build on 4.1 btw... 4.2 merge is in process.

    Hey guys,

I've been gone for the past few days because as expected, I lost power due to the storm. It did some pretty major damage to my house, but luckily no one was injured. About half our roof is gone, along with 3 trees and a window is shattered. Besides that though, everything is good.

Currently I don't have power. and I probably wont until early next week. The state of my town is insane right now; in a road near me, every 100 meters or so there is a live wire down with a huge 50ft tree on top of it. This won't be cleaned up for a long time. I haven't had school for the past week either, and I probably won't next week either, since pretty much 90% of my town doesn't have power still.

I'm currently at my Mom's work, since they have electricity and power, along with internet. I'll be here for the next few days during the daytime I guess, so feel free to PM me. I can't get any major programming work done for this ROM though since all my files were on my local computer which currently doesnt have power.

Hope anyone else who was affected by this terrible storm is okay- just remember none of the material stuff matters; keep your family safe.
