no v 7.3 we forgot to change it. V 7.2 is the latest one
Ok I have just test this. I have select USB tethering the driver was installed in Win7 but the phone always change for USB tethering to Charge!, probably because can not assigned IP address to PC.
This was also not working in Sebs ROM but it had worked once in RSK V6 or V5! (I have tried one more time in V6 after a month but never worked again). In V7 I have never test USB tethering since I am not using it (wifi hotspot is my favorite) but also because I was under the impression that this is not working for nobody (it was a sense 3.5 issue on desire). Later I will capture a logcat to see if logs can provide any indication of the problem.
On the other hand I never had problem with Wifi Hotspot in V6, V7, V7.1, V7.2 and I use it almost daily (I have 1.5 Gb monthly Data plan
Yes i know sometimes what is happening is very weird!!! What can i say i dont know where the problem might be but for me usb tethering with wifi open at my mob works right now... And about wifi tethering is very rare but i remember reading about that somewhere and no one could find what was wrong with that even if they tried all sense 3.5 roms
Yes wifi tethering is working with our rom only sometimes some desires have problem with that. It is probably not rom related. Thank you mate for all your nice previous comments for our rom we really appreciate it...

I want to make a little donation to RSK TEAM for your hard work and for awesome roms , i mean from beginning v1, 2, 3.0.2, 3.0.3, 4.0...etc till 7.2 but i see that you don`t have a "donate" button! I understand that you guys are only heart and this work is with all your soul for us, but this mean effort from you: Mr.Mefisto, Tigrutza and Halaros2 because you did some unique things here with 3.5 sense: first rom with implemented Amaze cam, first rom on Desire with so many kernels, first rom with more frameworks to choose, rosie, fusion, system UI, sd speed, 3 sd-ext mods implemented in one rom for us to feel free to choose and many others things so you all 3 are the best devs with great ideas and more imagination. You are the only team that give gratitude to all users and credits for the parts used in your roms from others devs,unlike others "devs"(moders) who use your work and not give credits...anyway this is another discussion. But a donate button is "necessary" or optional because i buy a Smartphone 2 years ago and it is further new with your roms. I think it is not only my opinion till all devs has a donate button!!!

This is selfless. Everyone has "donate" button. Infact I've seen few devs who have FORCED a d f. l y on their ROMS. Ridiculous.
I really respect RSK for this. And I don't really complain for any minor bug I find in the ROM because these people are working selflessly. They ain't being paid by me. I don't have them infact they have me and 100s others.

Hi guys, flashed to RSK 7.2 and have an issue with Wifi Hotspot.
It allows me to set up the Hotspot (tethering) and my netbook can connect but there is NO data getting through! Data works on the phone (can access the net etc) just not when tethered
Full wipe and cleared everything as per. Have tried searching both on here and on the net but nothing coming up.
Anyone else have the tethering issue? Or am I missing something glaringly obvious?
It's been a long day, so I probably made a schoolboy error, tethering was working on Oxygen ROM (previous ROM) but not on Sebs AIO which I tried before flashing RSK 7.2.
I use PDANet to connect my mobile to Laptop and then I'm able to use my Data (1GB per mth) on my Laptop as well as my phone. Dont know if this is what you are referring to, but it works for me although never tried any other way so i might be one of the lucky desire users that any way works anyway.

Facebook for HTC Sense
Hi,
I'm using the 7.2v of this ROM and it's works very well. The only thing that I can't find is account "facebook for HTC Sense". I know is not a BIG problem, but i like the sync of photo of my friends in my contact.
Any idea to put back account "facebook for HTC Sense"

well if you set up the facebook account in "accounts" your contacts pictures will be synced so you don't lose any of the facebook functiuonality. seems to me that facebook and facebook for htc were doing the same thing so it would be stupid to keep them both in there.
Goto settings > Accounts and setup your facebook account. While it'll be signing you in you'll see a notification up in the notification bar "Authorize HTC Sense" (or similar one) and you'll automatically be signed in to facebook for HTC Sense.
Then go to settings > Accounts > facebook and sync contacts.

And dont forget to untick "Live Feeds" in Auto Sync, otherwise it'll constantly be syncing and wasting your battery.
No mate USB tethering is working for some users. For me it works perfectly when I have strong signal( I think I don't remember if I have checked this and here I am now I don't have good signal to check) or wifi open at my phone (I check it right now to see if i m wrong

After few seconds Desire assigned to my PC IP (192.168.42.219, different than the one of my WIFI) and everything worked fine.As a second test I have turned off wifi and activate again the USB tethering. !!! But lets see if other users have any problems with it (anyone who uses it) but as it seems it should probably work ok for all (except only the usual small %) and that is perfect (even if i remember it was working for me since v 5 when i tested it if i remember well so i didnt know that it was a bug anymore that is why i never mentioned it and i remember someone asking me if it was working a while ago and i answered yes because it was working for me ) For now we will try and fix the last few problems of 7.2 and add some things and then will see what can we do next .Hehe i m glad it is working for you too mate that makes us 2 for sure

I'm still testing for now it seems good, fast and stable but I ll wait a little while to see how battery goes because for me battery is very important. Also I think there is another kernel ready to be tested here http://supernova.droidzone.in/?cat=3 The name is "Force Fast Charge Test Kernel v2" which is based on powersaver v4 as it says but I haven't downloaded it yet as I want to test this one first.
Is the next release going to be the final release as for gingerbread and sense 3.5 ?

Hints and tips for better user experience!!!
1) Always full wipe and format your sd card twice just to be sure that everything has been wiped.
2) Always check your personal choices at aroma installer twice so that everything you need is installed.
3) If you are using IC_backup and IC_restore and you have FC at first boot try to boot rom first let it settle down and then restart to recovery and flash (IC_restore). This is only for those having problems!!!
4) At first boot always let rom to settle down for about 5 minutes or more (especially users with ad2sdx script it might be better to make a restart after settle down and then start customizing)
5) At RCTeam Tweaks you can change rosie options to enable quick scroll to Semi 2d/3d (faster scrolling) All 2D (fastest scrolling).
6) At RCTeam tweaks you can go to Miscellaneous optios and enable beats (audio) boost.
7) At RCTeam tweaks you can go to Phone information-Phone information and change network type to GSM auto (PRL) to save some battery. (If any network error occurs after this change back to WCDMA).
8) At sound settings uncheck the option pocket mode to save some more battery.
9) At Accounts and sync you can uncheck live feeds if you dont need it to save some battery.
10) At power settings uncheck fast boot option if you dont need it because some apps from market doesn't work properly and you will not be able to boot to recovery by pressing power and volume button.
11) Daemon controller personal values

Sleep Min 245000 sleep max: 998400 Sleep Gov: conservative
12) Daemon controller personal UV ( checked with all RSK team roms with my phone with no problems BUT because i say every desire is the same but so different also if you see any instability return back to default

13) For facebook app to sync ok with all contacts and have the photos at the right resolution (you don't have to do this if it is working correctly for you) i don't setup my facebook account at first boot then i restore all my contacts from sd card
then i download latest facebook app from market if there is any then i setup my facebook account and let it sync for all finally i go in the facebook app at all my friends and i let it load all pics and then set my contacts widget.
14) Also if you want to change minfree values of rom and some other options (power users) you can use v6 supercharger found here http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=18703418&postcount=5021
15) For changing fonts you can use rom toolbox which can be found in market https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jrummy.liberty.toolbox&hl=en
16) When using titanium backup do not restore apps AND data because it can cause slow downs!!! only apps restore.
17) After fresh install when you choose your type of internet connection (in the beginning) at title "Internet connection"-->"Connection type" leave it to "Mobile network or Wi-Fi" don`t change it.
18) If you are having troubles booting rom please when aroma setup finish uncheck reboot now option return to recovery and restart from there normally
