If gapps don't appear or cause crashes, it is very likely that there was not enough space on the system partition. Please use instead this gapps package which is a little slimmer as the one published in this thread.
Sent from my Nexus™4 ?
The a2sd script does not amalgamate the 2 partitions for accounting and only ever shows 148 in the data partition, it does work though.Hi there,
nice rom. only the "A2SD install" didnt work for me, after reboot it still showed as 148MB
a2sd xdata DID work. afterwards i had 1GB. Is it me or can you change the installation instruction?
Help, can't install TWRP, CWM already installed. Also GParted wouldn't let me make more than one primary partition, and the FAT32 partition would only create as a Primary!
Hi, I've been using outdated version of this since june 2014, now i want to fully update it with updated slim gapps, do i need to wipe data and other caches to install the updated one?
I try to connect a VPN (IPSec Xauth PSK) on my htc Desire OmniRom and get a error in the log. Do you know how to fix it?
- Kernel: 2.6.38.8-evervolv-turba-jellybean
- Supports Bash, Nano, OpenVPN
Also, as far I remember there was an android 4.3.1 rom in which OpenVPN and turn.ko worked: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2669651
Don't suppose anyone is still in this thread. I have partitioned my sd card and flashed rom, installed a2sd in terminal then flashed gapps. when i try to update Google Play Services it tells me I have insufficient storage space. If i use the apk from APK mirror it updates but then I get the same storage error when I try to install anything else e.g. Hangouts. Any idea what I could be doing incorrectly?

Thanks Spezi77 for this awesome ROM that I couldn't think of changing since you created this thread!
Great battery performance! I dare say, the best among kitkat roms for desire!
This has been my fav one while my desire was still my active device. And now, it is time to retire my best phone and move on...
I'll still roam around this forum to check out cool stuff happening here, and hopefully contribute some more...
