Does this ROM use both cores? System panel says only one has been used since boot. cpu runs at 1512 for basically the whole time the screen is on and battery gets to 40 degrees pretty quickly. Is all this normal?

Yeah 4g and stuff will work but remember all the app does is take out the boot.img and added it to the ramdisk I believe)) once done than u flash the Rom through recovery... Just read the steps I wrote it wont get any simpler.

Hi,

I just flashed the updated version r31, even I tried the one before it but the same issue.

HotSpot only works on 3G, and the tether 4g app included in this rom, with the Yellow Icon, works, I mean it connects to the computer but NO INTERNET ACCESS anyone here to help me out? I'm on 1.4, and I have rooted my phone thanks.

Did you try this from three posts above you?

does anyone play Homerun Battle 3d and have stutter/choppy gameplay? A few of my games exhibit this issue with this rom.

You can use system panel to force always on dual core if you desire.

I believe hotspot has only ever worked at 3G even new out of the box. If you want 4G then the wi-fi- tether is the best option.

The configuration settings above are accessed from within the wi-fi tether app. Launch the app then open the menu and you will see the settings option. The firtst option ios where you would choose the profile (Evo3D). The other two settings are about halfway down the page.

It does defeat the purpose of the term "video" but that doesn't answer his question being sarcastic.

To put it so you can understand and see the purpose of his question, maybe he just wanted to listen to the SOUND of a music video without the need to look.

2. Click flash kernel on right side of app.
3. Locate where u have the latest virus Rom and select it.
4. You should see something like the app will try to extract the boot.img just click yes
5. Once done click yes again for it to flash.
6. U will get a message saying aneroid will become unstable reboot now.
7. Don't reboot just hold power and click restart than recovery
8. ONCE in recovery flash the super wipe and than the Rom and reboot
9. Enjoy trust me it works every time.

Well....I wouldn't say out works every time. I can not get it to work for the life of me. Every time I use it the system Bootloops after flashing the ROM.

And I know of at least several other people with the problem. Not saying anything bad about the app. It does appear to work on 99% of other peoples phones. But I woULD just be careful saying it works every time.

You're right, maybe. Thank you for interpreting his question for me. Sometimes I'm just dense and take things logically instead of literally.

I don't know of a way. I don't think it can be done unless you know of a way. On my phone You tube stays on and never blacks out.

There is always Pandora and a whole slew of streaming music apps out there.

Sorry about that just works for me everytime, only time I've had bootloops is if I try flashing a also Rom since the kernel is different( lol

Is there a benefit to doing this? or does it hurt battery? I was on warm twopoint three for a day and noticed both cores doing almost even work at a lower clock speed. That's why I asked. This rom is much faster, but I was just curious which way is better. I really have no idea and appreciate the knowledge here. Thanks

The benefit is that both cores come on synchrously which theoretically would decrease lag. I don't see any problem to the battery except for possible decreased run time. I run both cores set to 1.5 on lagfree and I can easily get more than a full day with moderate use. That was on on R27 of the 3.0 rom running Chad's stock kernel. The lagfree governor seems to give good battery results without sacrificing performance. I just installed r38 so I have yet to see if my prior experience will be similar on the new rom.

Call recorder does not appear to work in the newest version. It creates a file but I can not hear anything when I play it back. This is in 3.0
