So I read on the dinc2 section on rootzs that someone was going to flash the Franco kernel for aokp. So my question is even though that kernel was intended for the gnexus will it work with our phones as long as we are on aokp? Thanks in advance. This build #34 has been great so far.
I dunno the answer to that (mostly it is no, but that is a guess) I suggest you can venture and find out. Be our guinea pig!
I suppose you back away slowly from that kernel... I thought flashing an unsupported kernel will only bootloop your phone. Will it overwrite Recovery causing u to be unable to use it??
I don't actually think it would likely brick your phone but never flash something not meant for your device to be safe.
I didn't. I don't know what to set it to at all.

Odd issue. A short press on the power button isn't turning my screen off. It's pulling up the power menu instead. Was happening on 34 and is still happening on m5. I only flashed m5, and happy. Anybody else see this?

Just installed M5 and do not have this issue. Actually I do not have any issues. Did not have to killall via terminal. Have yet to test mms.

Idk why, but after the first boot I set it up and everything, and when hit the power button to see the lockscreen, and when the screen turned back on it went into a bootloop??? ALSO, my messaging app crashes after I open it, it won't let me see the lockscreen at all. And I'm still in a bootloop after a battery pull................
