Flashes now. Boots up fine. And your original questions:

1. Does it give you the option to restore your google apps?
Yup.

2. Does it work?
For the most part, except for below, which is a pretty big deal.

3. Is anything broken?
Says "Sim card not found"... no cell signal as a result. (WiFi works though.)

Try putting this apk in your system folder and rebooting: http://www.mediafire.com/?afy6ckb2bycekcj

Press power and Volume Up AND Volume Down at the same time for fastboot.

You have to fastboot flash twrp 2.1.2.

I was able to successfully unlock the bootloader and flashed recovery via fastboot (both versions of CWM and TWRP as well), but the SU binary doesn't seem to be taking properly. The SU app seems to be installed but no root access. I've tried two different SU.zip files.
This one-
http://goo.im/superuser/Superuser-3.0.7-efghi-signed.zip
and this one-
http://download.clockworkmod.com/test/su.zip

The first one fails to flash (Status 0) and the other one seems to flash fine in CWM but no root. Anyone have a link to a good SU.zip?

I flashed the su you stated in your post which is in my dropbox here:
http://db.tt/pshPre7P :super user efghi-signed.zip I flashed in cwm and all is fine. Worked like a charm... This is the same su from the Ultimate Galaxy Nexus guide.

I need some suc....er guinea pigs.

There is nothing particularly awesome about this build. It is a stock torospr build from aosp.

I need to know a couple things.

1. Does it give you the option to restore your google apps?
2. Does it work?
3. Is anything broken?

Not really in that order :p

Rom: http://www.mediafire.com/?gqm1gfxdn3td86v

Must use these gapps: http://www.mediafire.com/?tl76fi3es9zabul

1. Make a nandroid.
2. Wipe data.
3. Install rom.
4. Install gapps.
5. Reboot and pray.

This will help me get Sprint ready for BAMF Paradigm.

You will need the recovery posted earlier for Sprint.

SMH... I'll be your sucker since I already screwed up on trying to change the screen's DPI before making a nand... Hopefully I have some functionality at least until an official build or custom ROM is available

STUCK with Android and Exclamation Mark in Recovery

I am stuck -

Unlocked my Phone

Ran the same Toro CWM file that most seem to have run and it looked like it worked -

When I tried to go into Recovery - I ahve a little android guy with an exclamation mark on his back - now, I can still fast boot my phone with ADB - but when I tried to re-install CWM (thinking that maybe it didn't work the first time) I get an error message and the phone doesnt get the CWM File - not sure what i am doing wrong - tried to follow QB Kings Videos and did everyhting he did step by step - but I am getting hung up when I try to flash the CWM - and I have to think it has somethign to do with that error screen I mentioned (android guy with exclamation)

Any help would be greatly apprecaited - I know enough to be dangerous - so your guidance is greatly appreciated.

thanks -

If there are any Eos fans around, we'll have fully functional nightlys in a couple days. I'm just working out the last little minor bugs. I most likely won't open a thread for them here. But if you are down with Eos, then you will know where to find our nightlys.
