Does anybody know of a widget that will turn on/off my hotspot? I tried apps at the top of the list in the Play Store but none of them work on my 4.4 kitkat. Any suggestions?

Have you tried the status bar ones on GravityBox? If you're not rooted you could install power controls and at least have a nice shortcut to tethering.

Nah, not rooted. The power controls don't have one for the hotspot.

Hmm. My roommates droid razr maxx is configured that way with power controls but it just takes you to the hotspot page not an actual toggle. Still a shortcut tho.

Power controls will work. Just add a toggle and choose mobile hotspot. Will just be a shortcut. But always accessible in notifications.

    No Off-Toggle

Does anyone know why the Hotspot toggle apps will toggle on the hotspot but won't toggle it off? Is it impossible to do with a third party app on 4.4?
