Select boot mode

Well, when trying to boot into recovery I get the following options:

Select Boot Menu:
[VOLUME_UP to select. VOLUME_Down is OK. ]

[Recovery Mode]
[Fastboot mode]
[Normal boot] With and arrow that i can move up and down with my home button.

I can't seem to select anything, with the volume up or down.

Any thoughts?

maybe its a fake note 3 what we have cause it never says that at my dads note 3

I have no idea honestly. I bought it from someone

What did you do with your dads phone?

Sounds like some sort of bootloader mode...

The Note 3 doesn't have fastboot mode...so I'd say it's a clone.

Try doing it when the phone is unplugged. Restart your whole phone and go back to the mode without usb plugged in.

Well, I can get into the bootloader without the usb being plugged in, but I dont know how I get into recovery mode but I can't seem to select anything, with the volume up or down. Any thougths?
