There's no Korean version of S8500.
Regarding this FW. It's full of additional apps like MelOn, Bada Player, T Map (customized version of nDrive), even IM Seven is here, and there are some additional widgets, but they don't seam to work on my S8500, tried and nothing. Some widgets are for turning 3G data on/off, Torch and Mirror widget (remember bada 1.2). Anyways this is just first look on the FW, haven't actually flashed it, these are just some things found in FW after unpacking. Of all these improvements T Map (nDrive) is something that would be nice on EU FW's. That's it for now.

I believe SHW-M120S is actually S8530, since Kies and other Samsung services identifies is as such. Samsung's support page doesn't show any version of S8500 for Korean market. Maybe it's just me?

and on both pages they are stated as SHW-M120S...funny.

And here is the official info on SHW-M120S


and it clearly shows 3.3" AMOLED, so it should be the phone withe same specs as S8500. All this just got me confuse...BTW, sorry adfree, it seams you were right after all.

Its very strange as Google spit out funny results for SHW-M120S...

1 year ago I have download from FCC... so I have totally forgotten.

Just stumbled upon this info on Samsung's official web site.
It seams that SHW-M210S is actually Wave II, regardless of all the other info
pointing to S8500.

I have tried few other Firmware...

Remember. apps_compressed.bin is compressed... Like WINRAR or ZIP Archiv...

Changes affect more Bytes if uncompressed...

In other words you destroy apps_compressed... if you change complete text:
GT-S8500
into
SHW-M410

In SHW-M210S Firmware less risiko... Only 1 Byte...

Anyway... maybe some friendly korean user can help to find Firmwareversion for SHW-M410.

To insert in FUS Downloader should not biggest problem...
