Well as the kernel src code used by ardatdat is the I9103XWLA4 kernel src code, he may need some time to get the code ported from I9103ZCLA1 to I9103XWLA4 as the I9103XWLA4 does not have the code supporting 2 way call recording.

This is because the I9103XWLA4 and I9103ZCLA1 are built by 2 different groups of dev, one by the one in EU, and the other one is by the one in China.

btw I cannot sure that voodoo sound patch works with CONFIG_MACH_N1_CHN as CONFIG_MACH_N1_CHN is patching the code for WM8994 codec as well, which is the one that modified by voodoo sound.

Finally, v1.7b1, that integrates Voodoo Sound is ready for testing.

This time, I open it for public download such that more ppl could try it.

Change log
========

v1.7b1
- Add Voodoo Sound v10 to the kernel!
- Based on the newest Chinese ZCLD4 kernel source
- Raise the charging current. Please report whether you get faster charging speed or not...

- Please see the attachment in this post for the Voodoo Sound control panel, you can use it to adjust Voodoo Sound properties

Why not releasing it in the top post instead? Otherwise I wouldn't make my kernel out so soon. I thought people would need a voodoo sound kernel + su binary so bad, there I have released my earlier. btw please check my ramdisk ...... it is using latest CWM + busybox binary now.

In addition, if you can, please make an update on your kernel source please, so that I can work on that together (I don't want to distribute a new kernel when I have made a patch everytime) .... since it will eventually get merged to your build.

I am still organizing the source codes (They are poorly organized at this moment...). Please give me some time to prepare it as I am not full time making the kernel. My companie's work is extremely busy and I have been overtime in previous days.

Please understand that I squeeze time to make this kernel and please don't ask for ETA like other members

ya battery charging speed increase..................... it charge 18% battery in 20 min. , but i have an issue that the temperature of phone increases to 42"c ............ please fix that other wise kernal is very good................... thanx

It seems that v1.7b1 makes accelerometer not working in some of the non-Chinese based ROM. I will then try to add the Voodoo Sound back to the v1.6 kernel that is based on XWLA4 (European) codes. That should make accelerometer working again

Another problem I noticed with 1.7b1 is that the 1.3GHz frequency for the processor doesn't work. When I set the CPU at 1.3GHz it assumes the frequency at the time of the change as the maximum, so most of the time you end up with a maximum frequency between 456KHZ to 916KHz instead of 1.3GHz.

It is strange as I get no problem with 216 to 1300 frequencies. Maybe others could share their experience on that? Thanks!

I don't know if this could be related to ROM/baseband, but at least for statistical reasons, I am on 2.3.4 stock (XWKG8 / I9103XXKG7).

With previous versions of the kernel I had no such problems. This problem only happens at 1.3GHz.
