Looks like I slipped over whatever dateline was needed to refill my Thanks bucket so I gave ya one. (I keep spending them on Cooza and so far he has not told me to back off.) I certainly don't need some Ozzie chasing me down. He might spill beer all over me!!

Well just for grins I just now did a full format and then tried to restore with Titanium. No Go Launcher . . . so again it does not work for me. Then I tried the nifty new Go Backup and not only did it miss Go Launcher completely it took away my Root privileges.

I restored my trusty nandroid and now all is well again.

No there is no way to take pictures with the vol key. You also cannot make the camera totally silent. Shutter sound is gone but there is still a beep noise that I find wakes up naked ladies so that's not good.

I got the app FX Camera ZOOM and love it. I can touch anywhere on the screen to take a picture and I can make the camera silent. It is a paid app but it is really good.

installed it.. felt that its little bit behind on battery.. ran out of battery soon..

You don't overclock the rom. That is what you can do to SOME kernels. Omega rom comes with CF kernel and you don't OC it. Speedmod and Siyah kernels I believe you can tweak and perhaps some others. Those forums would be the best place to ask what best to use on their kernel.

you cant judge a ROM so quickly after installing it - you need to discharge the battery and recharge a few times before you can assess how well the ROM performs.

if you overclock ANY kernel your battery will surely suffer too, I am not an advocate of overclocking I see little point as the gains are minimal (other than pointless benchmarking tests)

A while back you said you restore your Titanium backup without data.If you do this then you will only get the Launcher back.If you want to get it as it was you need to back the right one up in Titanium and restore with data.A restore with data will do Launcher,settings and icons but its true as said ealier it wont load widgets.If you have only widgets on your home pages its normal that it will appear not to work.

If you mean using the internet while on a call then the OS is designed not to use calls and data connections at the same time.Thats the way it was with GB unless something has changed but I dont think it has.

A while back I was not as smart as I am now so now I backup apps with data. But alas it has been to no avail

I dunno what the problem is but right now I have everything sitting right where I want it . . . until Indie messes me up with an upgrade I can't resist flashing. Okay I think they deposited my daily allotment of Thanks so I'll spend one on you. Flowers and piza don't come until you do something really fearless and become my hero.

I think Indie said he wasn't gonna include this because it nulifies the double tap voice activation feature.... Once the file is changed you can just copy in the new one to the framwork folder and it works..

Sounds like a simple enough change, do you know exactly what needs changed? If so if you attach your jar file i'll give it a go.

Hi All.
Almost everything works fine except Kitchen app. When i choose a mod (or anything else) i get a Http error.
Any ideas?

Yeah it was.My friend came to my house with the same question last year when we both had the HTC Desire HD.I had to show him that it didnt work in his phone nor mine and explain that it was an OS thing.The phones were on 2.3.4GB.

Shouldnt be any problem cos its the same ROM.It would be if it was from another though.

Did you try it cos the date is from last year so its a GB mod.May or may not work.

No it's 100% OMEGA style! That's why we are all here. Stock ICS is available with all the full blown ICS style stuff but we like Indie's work better!
