So I rooted my phone and am getting alerts about an OTA update. When it rebooted into recovery, I wasn't sure where the OTA update file was located, so couldn't install it. So my questions are:

1) Where is that location?
2) Would installing it via recovery wipe my phone given the non-standard method of installation?
3) Is it likely I will have to re-root when done?
4) I already have Titanium Backup to restore stuff. Am I better off just grabbing a custom ROM ?

Sorry for the n00bish questions.

1. /sdcard/downloads
2. No
3. No
4. Only if you want more features than stock offers. Personal preference.
