So I had 2gb free I used analyzer and it showed VPLAYER was using 12gb. I went to the directory and deleted the cached mp4 files. However after deleting long and uninstalling the program my note3 shows only 2gb free.

I then downloaded another analyzer app which shows the right value. However the system still does not see it. Please help!

Edit. Still not sure how deleting those files kept thembin system memory any idea how to fix it?

According to me it’s a system bug. I’m on 4.4.2 from the start when I got the phone and once I installed a game which was over 12GB and as it had some bug I uninstalled it and after done the system was still showing memory including the 12GB. The system didn’t reduced the space calculation after uninstall. Even after long time, I was frequently checking. But after restart it was showing correct free space.

Deleting any files from the stock File explorer never had this issue. I will say after deleting large file by any external apps, restart the phone. And use ccleaner to clear chase memory and clear more space. It’s a good app.
