Interesting I used tegraowners black thunder root 6.0 and successfully rooted my tablet after official updated Acer a500. My build number is the 1.033 Gen 2. However on this black thunder root my build number is not listed as supported but it worked and rooted my tablet. Does it make any difference?.. also what is the remount app for?

I've upgraded mine today via the OTA without a glitch here in GREECE.

Changes i've noticed:
Acer Ring now has the option either to unlock or open camera
Create Folders when dragging on app over another
Wi-Fi has better Signal
Mic Sound is a little better than before
To add an app to screen you go to apps and hold the app you like pressed
No auto shut down like before even after 14 hours(finally)

My stats:

Android Ver. 4.0.3
Kernel 2.6.39.4+
Build Acer_AV041_A500_1.031.00_WW_GEN1
