Just flash modem system and boot and you are fine.

I have an similar question..
I flash through RSD lite 6.1.4? correct?
Just modem, system and boot?
Am I going to lose all my files and apps?
Do I have to wipe something? How?
Is this revertable? If is.. How?
My bootloader is locked...
Can I flash the european SFR 4.1.1?

Sorry for the amount of questinons. I got this phone today...

Can I flash the european SFR 4.1.1? Nope.

None of this will work for a firmware for a different region or carrier if you are locked.

You wouldn't use the XML for it, you would use terminal commands. The fastboot binary for these commands are located on aosp.us: http://www.aosp.us/wp-content/files/fastboots.zip

Code:

fastboot flash system system.img.ext4
fastboot flash boot boot.img

Try booting them (after wiping userdate). If you get signal and data, great. If not, need to flash the modem.

Code:

fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin

I did and it's veryy good and fast.
We don't have lte in Brazil. But now my baseband supports it and when we get I will be surfing veryyy fast.

You can downgrade to ICS using "ICS Nandroid backup" with CWM (you have to restore the "nandroid full 4.0.4" on CWM)

Then you can flash back the ICS brazil (or others) firmware with rsdlite, but you must DELETE on .xml getvar line AND partiton_signed line (very important!)

SFR uses 800 and 2600Mhz

Brazil carriers will use 2600Mhz, so the Radio is compatible I think. Just an conclusion i've made...

Help flashing european rom.

Hi guys,

I have an RAZR HD from Brazil with the retail rom. My bootloader is unlocked and my device is rooted.
I have in my computer the the Android SDK installed and also the RSD lite. I tried to flash the XML rom from france into my device but I get an failure message.

Do you guys know what I am doing wrongly? how is the correct way to do it?

Vc tem q editar esse arquico .XML e apagar a linha toda onde se encontra essa palavra q está dando erro. (You gotta edit that arquico .XML and delete the entire line where that word is giving error)

Agora te pergunto, como tu vai manter o root nessa ROM jelly Bean? (Now I ask you, how you will keep this ROM root Jelly Bean?)

Esse é uma boa pergunta, sabe se o método de root para o ICS funciona? Mas tb não me interesso muito pra ter root agora...
Vou pesquisar se já tem o método de root do JB pra o a versao americana Droid.

Orang without LTE

Branding: Orange France
Version: 9.8.0Q-97-XT925_VQU-19 FULL

It's with disabled 4G bands. Is it same for all orange firmwares or just for it? I have found many messages that RAZR HD supports 2600 MHz LTE, it's very interesting for me, cause in Russia we have only this band with wide area.

Fiz aqui usando o TWRP e o arquivo CWM-SuperSU-v0.98, ficou com o root numa boa, testei com o modem da propria ROM e o modem da rom brasileira, mas o 4g nem aparece pra escolher e o GPS fica horrivel, não acha um satelite, peguei o arquivo GPS.Conf de um Razr Maxx e o gps voltou a funcionar.

Sinceramente nao aconselho a fazer essa instalação, ainda mais pq nao tem como fazer um downgrade para o 4.0.4 pelo RSD, apenas se vc fizer um backup da sua ROM usando o TWRP.
